Cosmo Premiere ☼ 2022 ☼

We've spent the last few months doing what we love most: digging for new music and fresh sounds to expand our down. family.

The result is an EP with the Dutch artist @rozeofc, whose synth-heavy, danceable sound fits perfectly with our current musical ideas.

The two originals are complemented by a phenomenal remix by @sydkasd, who transformed the EP's title track into a groovy banger that will hopefully set one or the other festival sound system on fire this summer.

Additionally, our French friend @laurent-flahaut has contributed a minimalistic edition of the second track, rounding out the original's distinctive character with his own twist.

We want to welcome all three artists to our down. family and thank them for their great contributions and give as well credits to our graphic designer Kilian Van De Water and to our mastering engineer Haunted Water.

The sun is burning, the limbs are still fresh and agile. The beat enters, distant horns approach and create a sonorous echo. The silhouettes of the mountain peaks merge with the sky, the shadows become shorter and in the hut the cake is dished up. 
Hüttenwart EP Part 1 comes along with 4 tracks named after mountain peaks from Johans Brav's summit diary. Four tracks massage the calves and surprise the listener with melancholic horn synths: Slowrave with forward momentum. Tracks for bright days and steep hut ascents. Geplantes Nichtstun's Remix provides the icing on the house cake with a twist. Carbohydrates for the legs, sugar for the soul.

Today is my birthday and therefore i brought a little present with me :)
I made this track a few years ago so it might sound a bit dusty around the corners haha

I wanted to share this anyway, because of 2 reasons:
1. it´s a happy track which dont come around that often.
2. this will be the last possible moment to get that moose out..

I am currently working on a new sound and my first live set :)))
This is a huge thing for me, and i am already excited too see if y´all like it!
Anyway, the moose wont fit there anymore so im squeezing this out now.

As a lover and appreciator of the Horror and Suspense genre in movies and books, I grew up seeing many things in these works that caught my attention and caused a strangely pleasurable feeling. All my life I have also seen these things happen in real life, many times
more brutally, but the feeling was not the same. That shiver, that tension and that moment caused by reading or by a fictitious interpretation was not produced in my body, but a feeling
of anguish and anger. Anger for sharing the same space and being of the same species as the one who performs such actions.
The last 3 years we had atypical years of our lives, and throughout that process I poured that into music, creating this album. I can say that it was an “emotional masochism”. I
read stories, watched movies (based on real events or not), looked for things I hadn't looked
for and listened to various news. In addition to observing the world around, as usual. With that, I saw even more the capacity of the human being to be, at the very least, complicated.
It is not necessary to list or point out all the problems that human beings are capable of being and doing with their peers and with everything around them. We all know. And we
don't know everything, as we are always surprised by the insanity of the mind, putting ourselves in situations that were previously unimaginable.
No triggers and no more stimuli: the scariest movie is human life.

”Selion and Sini are colors, wide and slow colors. The elements move, the background changes: this defines the space. Color can mislead, can change spatiality. There is an architectural consciousness that supports the groove, so as to create a new space. That's why there is a need for low wide bass, slow strong drums and scattered drops of echoes, to have a ground, a horizon, and air. These tracks walk a direction in my music.
On this path I met my friend Frolov who took one of these and showed me another side of sound.”
