Dream Prisoner Part II - Enchanted Garden (Featuring Chris Kinsey)

The fruition of a three way collaboration with Chris Kinsey and Paul I. Stubley.

Based on one of many glorious melodies from Paul McCartney’s Standing Stone, an extended classical work written by McCartney and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.  The work was commissioned to commemorate the 100th anniversary of E.M.I. records and was premiered at the Royal Albert Hall in October 1997.

This is a progged – up interpretation of part three of the first movement, track 3 on the album.

Chris and Paul gave me their individual contributions and I effectively “threw the paint at the canvas”.   I then spent a considerable amount of time mixing and eventually the picture began to develop.  As the work progressed we discussed what we thought would work and what wouldn’t, eventually arriving at this, the finished piece.
A big, big thanks to Chris and Paul for creating exceptional pieces of music for me to work with.

Gary messaged me just after Christmas to ask if I would like to collaborate with himself, Jaime and Nick on this piece, I thought what an honour, how could I refuse?
A big thanks to my co collaborators for making this an exciting and enjoyable experience. To Jaime for her gorgeous piano lines, synth and vocal work, Nick for his blistering guitar playing and a special thanks to Gary for everything he bought to the piece, the concept, his vision and for bringing it all together.

I Tried To Warn You - Paploviante

A collaboration with Torbjørn Vagle and Jimmy Rivas.

I sent a demo of the song with the basic chord sequence to Torbjørn  and Jimmy in the hope they would consider joining me for another collaboration, Torbjørn to add his exceptional keyboards, Jimmy to write lyrics and provide his powerful and distinctive vocal, luckily for me they both agreed.

Torbjørn  and Jimmy’s contributions have lifted the song to a level way beyond my original demo, thanks very much for your outstanding work guys.

Triumph over adversity is the theme here, I think we can all relate.

An Invisible Enemy (Jimmy Rivas - Torbjørn  Vagle - Dairv Dubbleyew)

I have a lot of faith that people can be strong enough to recognize where they have done (or are doing) harm and make sincere amends. I also believe that people have the power to heal and forgive wrong doings. It takes great strength to walk together through the fire of our pains and come out the other end holding hands, recognizing and honoring our differences while acknowledging and celebrating our similarities.  

May everyone get a chance to break bread together, enjoy some wine, and share some laughs. 

Thanks again to Calebass, Jon, and Janine for joining me together on a 3rd track. We make a great team! It was really fantastic to have Chris O and Belial Pelegrim finally join a track on my page. Chris O and Belial are two SoundCloud legends in my opinion. I am so grateful to be making music with all my favorite people. If only I had more time to make music with all of my favorites on the cloud. Who knows, maybe I do!
