Outta Limits Radio Show With DAMO B.  Broadcast on Unity Radio 92.8 FM 11th Jan 2023

Old fart who loves 4:4 across the board. Occasionally promote and play out at a night called 'Darkroom' and at 'Esoteric' at The Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Held a residency on the Modulations podcast and broadcast 'The Electric Lounge' radio show for two years. Musical inspirations: too many. Forged in late 89 sweatboxes in Manchester...But it ain't where you're from, it's where you're at. 

Broadcasting from the South West of the UK expect a lot of jungle, dub, hardcore and sounds loosely termed "rave".  The more "left field" the better and our selectors try to bring a few less heard cuts to the mix. We love the roots of the scene, respecting  the forefathers and mothers of the music so we'll be dropping some classics  in with the new tracks pushing bass music forward. Alongside the above genres we can't miss out on a good tune so  you'll also hear  acid house, balearic , house and their  evolutionary  offspring  like trip hop, dubstep, d&b, UK Garage and more...

Music collector, DJ and occasional artist/producer. DJ'ing since 1997, I play a wide range of music that is mainly focused on the deeper/dubbier shades of house, techno & electro. I also love all kinds of eclectic stuff including disco, boogie, Italo, synth pop, nu jazz, jazzdance, lounge, trip-hop, downtempo, dub, reggae, jungle, liquid drum & bass, IDM, electronica, Warp, Ninja Tune etc.

In summer 2013 I set up the Avenue Red (@avenue-red) imprint to push quality material from a wide plethora of DJs and artists who I have particular respect for in terms of their musical output, artistry and dedication to the cause.

I began making music in my late teens, round 1988, with a casio sampler and a tape machine. 

Initially I wanted to make electro pop similar to Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. 

Then Detroit Techno hit.
