Ever since i enriched my quarantine with Felix's mixes i had my mind set at having him on this show.
Well, Felix was kind enough to record us this mix on first request.
Felix Tapes is a selector and producer based in Amsterdam. His musical range goes from African funk and disco to Amazon exotic vibes. And more than his mixes, his biggest contribution to music, in my opinion, comes from producing african edits. 
He is a part of the ethno kult community, a very cool project that you can check out here to learn more : https://ethnokult.weebly.com/ . 
His next project will come from collaboration with his friend Jasper (artist name Kurlz 727). It is a upcoming EP for the "Echoes from Venus" label. So, use this mix to pass time while waiting :D.

This is a relatively tender mixtape, mainly filled with chilled, downtempo tunes. Reason is because my girlfriend started reading next to me and I didn’t want to disturb her . Inspired by the African cassette tapes from my father, I started playing African Disco and Funk in Amsterdam in 2010. After traveling in different continents, I started experimenting with sounds from all over the world. Where I used to play a bit more uptempo, nowadays I am focussing on a deeper and more atmospheric sound. Blending different genres and tempos is something that is appealing to me. From Nigerian funk to Amazon tribe music, everything is possible.

is a dj resident in a small rural village on the island of Mallorca. He was always fascinated by ethnic and psychedelic sounds, he mixes songs, poems, loops, shamanic voices… Rhythms between tradition, electronics, folklore and the cosmos. Organic sounds that generate a deep and enveloping atmosphere. As co-founder and dj resident of the NAUA collective, organizes outdoor gatherings in the beautiful landscape of the Island.
This set features music produced by artists from Spain and Portugal, who mix downtempo electronic music with folk music influences from the Iberian Peninsula. Expect 4x4 rhythms but also 3x3 and 3x4, flamenco, celtic music...

Nowananda weaves together devotional, organic and electronic music from all over the world into music journeys that invoke the mystic, the lover and the animal within us.

I played this DJ set live at my "Yalla Ethnic Ecstatic Dance" event in Koh PhaNgan, Thailand.

At Ecstatic Dance events, we dance without shoes, without drugs and alcohol, and most important for me, without words and chit chat.
The music goes from soft to a few peaks and ending soft again, and includes a huge variety of genres and any music that make the body move, the heart feel, and the mind relax.

This journey takes you through ambient, downtempo, global bass, tribal, house, traditional Armenian and Gypsey music, Amazonian, Arabic, Brazilian, African and other styles, genres and countries.

TAkATukkA is a dj from Salzburg in Austria. primarily a consumer of electronic music in Berlin, Hamburg and Copenhagen, he started to collect and play music from 2016. Inspired by melodic and downpitched afterhour sets, the music melanges between deep, dark and slow, sometimes growing into ethereal sounds.

Due to lack of electronic venues in Sbg, TAkATukkA started together with @Lukorii the downtempo collective @LauterKlabauter. its idea is to establish electronic world music in an otherwise fast-paced music scene. we are moved to connect people with stirring sounds that create an athmosphere of bliss and comfort. and we love to put life to secret places or scenic outdoor locations. ever since we started, the collective is growing and slowly becoming a player in the local electronic music scene.

Inspired by the African cassette tapes from my father, I started playing African Disco and Funk in Amsterdam in 2010. After traveling in different continents, I started experimenting with sounds from all over the world. Where I used to play a bit more uptempo, nowadays I am focussing on a deeper and more atmospheric sound. Blending different genres and tempos is something that is appealing to me. From Nigerian funk to Amazon tribe music, everything is possible.
