André Pahl (@andrepahl)(Berlin) is known for his Safari mixes—pitched down cinematic journeys through uncharted seas, forbidden deserts and distant galaxies. His sound tends to oscillate between psychedelic trips, spaced out electronics and voodoo percussion, exploring the slowed-down heartbeat of danceable music. Listening to André Pahl’s sets is like being compelled to push yourself inside a forest even though you know it'll be dangerous — head first, then the whole body, submerged deep into a strange jungle world, partly solid, partly made of shimmering liquids.

@g-k-machine : At first I decided to only pick records that existed prior to 2015, the year the label started. In other words I interpreted it as using the mix as an opportunity to showcase what HAD inspired its birth. Then I thought, fuck this weird limitation I’ve imposed on myself….there is so much great music being released NOW that I want to put on it. Besides, the label is constantly evolving so it would be weird to say the influences stopped after the label started. So in the end it encapsulated as much as I could possibly bring into it and despite it’s diversity, it’s still quite niche…….

His musical interest starts when genres blend and punk is an approach. Wave, Triphop, Acid, Kosmische Musik. No cliches, blurred lines only.

Tankwart, also known as Bik, is a DJ, producer, and musician from Zurich. He is part of the band called Dâdalus & Bikarus and finds creative synergy with the label subject to restrictions discs. When it comes to music as culture Tankwart enjoys bottom-up and community inspired approaches.
