Rural is always a special event for me. Playing in the Japanese mountains in front of my friends, it means a lot. Last year I was on the Sunday night, full of stars, in between Function and Alessandro Cortini. With a 3 hour slot, I had the chance to dive deep and do what I wanted. It was a really positive experience for me so I thought it would be nice to share the recording with you all. Thanks for listening and hope to see you on a dancefloor soon, Wata.

Whipnotiq is a sorceress of unique sounds spanning the electronic music spectrum. Sharpening her craft at influential underground parties in LA and passionately building her record collection over the past seven years, Miranda Calzada has shared the bill with techno elite such as Function, Rrose, Cio D'Or, Lucy, Voices from the Lake, Daniel Bell, Carlos Souffront, and Ø [Phase], to name a few. She currently curates the Neptunian Influence podcast, an electro-focused mix series, which features artists such as 214, James Shinra, ADAB, Kiernan Laveaux and Sassmouth. In 2017 she participated in the second installation of the Walking & Falling DJ mentorship program in Chicago, where she also performed alongside the inimitable Eris Drew. In November 2019 she was invited to DJ at Ellen Allien's 'Vinylism' held at Stellar Remnant record shop in DTLA - one of her most special gigs to date.

For this episode we'd like to give a warm welcome to the Paris-based artist, Knay.
He started his project in 2018 with a first EP out on Natch Records. 
Sound exploration is the main focus while having a studio session. This exploration combines many different elements including nature sounds, analog gear recordings, transposed and time stretched samples that are used to create textures and rhythm.

With an extremely original approach and mesmerizing layer overlaping, he's easily able to take the traveler into inner dimensions and get lost there for a while, altering his/her state of consciousness, gradually guiding it into a deeper version of itself.

His progressive sessions, profound and with long mixes, are real voyages that sail through experimental music, ambient and horizontal and dubby techno.
His productions are 4x4 experiments of low tempo with field recordings and marked spaces, where he explores timbres, textures and cinematographic structures. He is resident at the Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and owner of the label Antimatter together with Bule.

Xanexx has recently released 'Morph', a 6-track solo EP on SCOPÁVIK, including a remix from @prismusicuk.  

In his mix for Codeword, Xanexx offers up an hour of deep, trippy, quasi-spiritual and masterfully-restrained techno.

We feel absolutely blessed to welcome Adelia on Cellar Door. The Prague born and Barcelona based  DJ started her career with a heavier and darker techno sounds, however she quickly gravitated towards the deep and hypnotic sphere.

Getting inspired by the Spanish nature, she has  been brilliantly pursuing  the gurgling sound and representing it on some of the most interesting mixing platforms (Oslated, Charybdis, Fur:ther Sessions etc.)
