Phil Weeks is a house music purist. Whether DJing or producing, the Parisian with the huge personality delivers raw beats influenced in equal measure by
classic Chicago house and nu‐school French flair, underpinned with a hip‐hop attitude. His long running Robsoul Recordings also defines him as one of the
most skilled label heads in underground house music.
In the studio Phil is dedicated to classic hardware like Akai’s MPC 3000 sampler and Roland’s TR909 drum machine. He has released more than 250 tracks and
remixes since his debut in 2000, working with labels including 2020 Vision, Music For Freaks, Brique Rouge, Detour, Adult Only and his own Robsoul, which
is responsible for the majority of his original output. 

Phil’s work can also be found in the collaborations Fries & Bridges (with Hector Moralez) and PS Project/Bubba Beats & Kid Piston (with DJ Sneak). Production highlights include Phil’s three albums ‘Love Affair’ (2011), ‘Yeah I Like That’ (2003) and ‘Raw Instrumental’ (2012), alongside style‐defining singles ‘Hypnose’, ‘It Put Me Well’ and ‘All Day Every Day’. The music has been
heavily supported by international dance press including achieving accolades such as MixMag’s and De‐Bug’s ‘Album Of The Month’, while DJs ranging from
Danny Howells and Yousef to Mark Farina and DJ Sneak consistently play his tracks. Behind the decks, Phil has racked up enough air miles to take him around the
world several times over, with appearances at the world’s leading house clubs ‐ Queen’s Club, Sankeys, Circus, Ministry of Sound, Back to Basics and Stereo are
all regular haunts, alongside his Paris residency ‘Get Underground’ at the infamous Rex Club.

Phil has also fully embraced the relationship with his fans and house music fans in general – whether through his popular ‘Underground Chronicles’ video diaries
on Youtube or his personal relationships on Facebook.
Despite his success Phil isn’t one to brag. To him it’s all about keeping proper house music alive. Which just goes to prove Phil Weeks is a house music purist.

Great Lakes Audio Recordings is the brainchild of label head honcho Mark Farina, creator of Mushroom Jazz and legendary House Music DJ. Since his days at Gramaphone Records in Chicago in the 90s, Mark has always been a creative trailblazer in his approach and musical execution. Whether it was making handmade mixtapes featuring his artwork or mixing genres to eventually come up with his signature Mushroom Jazz sound, Mark has built his career on presenting a very personal vision of what a DJ can be. 
Great Lakes Audio Recordings is an extension of that drive to bring only the best in underground music to DJ’s and the masses alike. The label’s focus is squarely on promoting the work of producers from around the world that share that funky, groovy, soulful, and Chicago influenced sound fans have come to expect from Mark.  The Farina sound will be represented to the fullest on Great Lakes Audio Recordings with Mark curating every release from the music to the artwork.  Label Manager Jerry Walker (AKA J-Dub) has partnered and toured with Farina over the last 2 decades and has joined him to help create this new space for producers, visual artists, and fans to join together to share their love of House. Drawing inspiration from the history of the DIY culture that built this now global scene, Great Lakes Audio Recordings will be firmly rooted in the spirit of the loft parties, warehouse raves, and indie record stores that gave birth to this musical movement.
The label plans to continue to work with artists from it’s previous incarnation (GLA) such as Demuir, Kid Enigma, Ed Nine, Jazzman Wax , Iban Montoro, Riki Inocente, Ed The Spread and DJ Sneak while also promoting the work of new label artists like Javi Bora, Andres Boned, and Todd Omotani.  We’ll also be bringing new merchandise to market featuring our amazing new logo and artwork from releases and events. Our social media presence will be strong and constantly updated with fresh content found on our new Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Soundcloud, and YouTube pages.  Ed Nine & Kid Enigma, Iban Montoro & Jazzman Wax, Matt & Ricky, and JT Donaldson kick started the label beginning in 2018 gearing up steadily into 2019. Future releases include releases from Bonetti & Alek Soltirov, Iz, Kid Enigma, Chris Nazuka, and the man himself, Mark Farina. Legendary for his role in the birth of the electronic music scene in the Baltimore / Washington DC area, Charles Feelgood has built a reputation as a DJ in the international dance community through his versatile remix skills and a a Dj style that incorporates many styles of House Music.

An Integral part of the Baltimore/DC scene, Charles if often credited with helping  put the scene on the house music map. In the early nineties he joined forces with fellow DJ Scott Henry to launch Fever, a club event that introduced the sounds of electronic music to his hometown. The first event of its kind in that region, the night exploded in popularity almost immediately, attracting upwards of 2,500  people. Featuring such top-notch, internationally renowned talent as Paul Van Dyk, Derrick Carter, and Carl Cox, the biweekly event ran for over 7 years.

Maintaining a seven-year residency at Fever helped springboard Feelgood's  danceable brand of house to widespread exposure across the East Coast. His popularity quickly bloomed thanks in part to his legendary mixed series, "Time to Get Ill." His first major label release came on Warner Brothers Imprint F111. He soon developed a club-heavy touring schedule that regularly took him to famed clubs all over the East and West Coasts, Canada, Europe, Asia and South America. In 1999 Charles Moved to LA and has since been ingrained in the SoCal EDM scene, playing Clubs and Festivals from SanFrancisco to SanDiego. "Being based in such a culturally diverse music scene was really a catalyst for me to experiment with my sets and really begin to mix it up a bit ".

Charles has been busy in the studio as usual, with several releases making it in the top 100 Chart on Beatport and top ten on several  digital music sites worldwide. In 2010 Charles saw several releases on Major and Independent labels such as Instereo and Burn The Fire - remixing everything from Lady Gaga to P Diddy, and a breakout track called "Hands" on Ultra that made the Beatport Top 100 chart several weeks running with an Alex Kenji remix. Look for the new Mix Cd on Dirty Fabric Chicago to hit the streets in 2011 with several of his own original tracks.

Constantly in demand all over the world for his ability to light up dance floors with his sets of funky or tech drenched house, Feelgood has received numerous accolades in his fifteen year career. These include being named Baltimore's Best DJ several years, and being included in Dj magazines top 100 Dj's several years running. Playing gigs from as far away as Russia for the Audi Car Company to working the crowd at 2007's Cochella Festival - Charles is the consummated dance floor rocker - summing up his musical mission in one sentence: "I just want to do what the name implies, to make people have a good time and go home with a great feeling.

Deeply prolific Bristol-based house connoisseur Andy Compton has released over 50 albums and over 200 EPs (either under his own name or as part of his legendary group The Rurals, COMPTON or L.A.M.P, Blue Dream) on his essential Peng label and imprints like Motown, Universal, EMI, Sony, Ralf GUM’s GOGO Music, Chicago’s LARGE Music, Seasons, Viva, Hed Kandi and many others.
South Africa has embraced Andy's deep house sounds, and because of his popularity over there, and albums released via EMI, SONY, WEA, and now Universal. He has done over 20 South African tours in the past 10 years.
Since discovering house music in the early ‘90s Compton has released a dazzling array of music and worked with an army of artists. He’s been featured on the cover of the seminal DJ Magazine and had his music used in TV show Six Feet Under, while tunes like “Sweeter Sounds” have become bona fide anthems at spots like NY’s Shelter. He has worked with top class vocalists Celestine, Marie Tweek, Diviniti, Kafele, Rowan, Ladybird, Sabrina Chyld and many others!
Compton's Dj skills have turned heads and twisted bodies worldwide, with his thumping brew of electronic beats swathed in coolly-crafted melodies, with Peng becoming one of the premiere labels on the planet, garnering support from house big-hitters like Louie Vega, Larry Heard, Mark Farina and Osunlade (to name a few).
All this has solidified Compton’s reputation as one of the most respected house music players on the planet.
