The Metalheadz back catalogue features almost every major figure in the history of drum and bass, and is one of the most innovative labels out there, consistently crossing boundaries with its releases since 1994. The labels output continues to showcase a maturing genre of music that displays influences from reggae, hip-hop, house and techno with highly-sophisticated and intricately-produced tracks, contrary to the image of the music that is typically presented by the mass media.

Releasing music from some of the biggest names out there whilst at the same time pushing and letting new talent break through are the reasons why Metalheadz continues to stay at the forefront of electronic music.

The Metalheadz label was also the driving force behind the seminal Sunday Session Club Nights, which achieved legendary status at London's Blue Note club. Today, Metalheadz club nights are often sell outs with the label also regularly hosting stages at some of the biggest festivals across the world.

Well it all started in year 1995 when my foot first touched floor of Dance hall Koruna in Breclav where dj R.A.D.E.K. and his mate Sasha did make remarkable house parties,
Luckily it was the 90. that represented great fusion of rock and electronica.
 I had good start so my first dj set was in Dance hall Koruna in 1997.
Bought few first vinyls and thanks to dj Sayko which taught me basic things regarding mixing of various styles of music.
Parties here and there in Brno (Meskalito, Fan Favorit, Mersey) until approx. Millenium.
Short djing break, since 2005 residence in Prague. First music club where in Prague mixed music was Wakata in 1998 so I came back to do gig here and there. I met UK dj Mr. ISM from UK which played first dubstep I ever heard probably. WIcked parties alltogether with MC Diamond. 
Then I met another british lad dj Blinker, another great sparring partner from UK.
Not to forget dj Bica the real hip hop soul of prague dj scene and the big allmighty latin / soul / funk king dj Baltazar.
Not to forget great support and freindly approach of Prague local djs, Bica,  Geers, Ich Bin, Bobesh 23, Coolcream, Goldstar, Martin Mikulas.



Dahø  (Technørd) 

Bio ENG:
     Dahø is half of “Czech Murder Boys”, half of legendary duo Daho & Ginger and icon of Czech electronic and techno scene. He plays since 1995 and he always had exceptional music selection. For long 14 years he was the owner of the famous recordshop Nula2. His musical vision has industrial-techno basis and is influenced of EBM, coldwave/gothic techno and post-industrial scene. He always searches for sound extremes and transforms them into a digestible dance form..

Bio CZ:
     Polovina z legendárního tandemu Daho & Ginger - jabloneckých “Murder Boys”. Dnes už prostě jen Dahø, je ikona české technoscény, zakladatel vinylshopu Nula2.cz, ale hlavně velký milovník a průkopník elektronické hudby v České Republice, který se za gramofony objevuje už od roku 1995. Za třicetiletou existenci na scéně si vybudoval pověst vyhraněného hudebního selektora v oblasti industriálního techna a experimentální elektroniky. 
     V roce 2014 se vydal na sólovou dráhu jako Dahø, aby oddělil éru dvojice D&G. Jeho hudební filozofie stojí na industiálním technosoundu, který obohacuje o průniky noisu, darkwave a EBM. Vyhledává v hudbě zvukové extrémy, které v mixech podává transformované do taneční formy a reflektuje vývoj techna z historie až do současné podoby aktuálního zvuku. Svou hudební vizi prezentuje od roku 2017 jako hlava projektu Technørd, pod jehož značkou s dalšími členy crew, organizují industriálně orientované eventy nejen na severu Čech. Od léta 2024 se stal rezidentem libereckého klubu BarPapír, kde má vlastní rezidentní noc Nørdlead.

Prague born Voita is a freestyle DJ since the end of the nineties.
He likes funky breaks, breakbeats, techfunk as well as techhouse and techno.
You can hear Voita mainly at parties in various clubs in Prague or at parties by www.breakbeat.cz crew and @the-tchendos DJs.
He is a member of http://soundcloud.com/voitalipert studio project (plus Dudu).

“I Care Because He Does.”









This is a page inspired by the artist Richard D. James, more specifically, his work on the Rephlex Records label, unreleased/rare releases, and the album he released under the alias “The Tuss”, called “Rushup Edge.” Leading up to this official release, there were multiple MySpace pages said to be accounts belonging to The Tuss. At this point in 2023, it is still unclear how much of these Tuss accounts Rich was involved in… the only confirmed RDJ Tuss material are the aforementioned “Rushup Edge”, and the ep the preceded it, called “Confederation Trough”.

This page also focuses heavily on the “SoundCloud Dump”, which was a series of releases uploaded to a number of anonymous accounts on SoundCloud that eventually became clear to the world to be Richard. It is an astonishing amount of material - spanning his entire artistic career. They eventually were taken down by his record label, but there are a number of folks that compiled each track in a zip archive and can be downloaded for free to this day on archive.org. 

Though this page is dedicated to and inspired by Aphex Twin - I came to a turning point with where to take this page. The main goal is to promote. In other words,  to provide a place online for fans of Aphex Tain to easily stream the best of their favorite artist, as well as showing younger fans of electronic music who I believe is the greatest electronic musician. 

I’ve also uploaded various tracks from a few other artists that are either collaborators, influencers or those influenced by Aphex Twin. You will find some original DJ mixes done by me and some straight up “mixtape” style hour long tracks arranged by and mastered by me. 

I do not profit in any way from this monetarily speaking, but I do get a lot out of seeing the comments and the joy that the songs uploaded bring about, and archives are important.
