Echoes from N Λ T U R R I T U - MATERIA PRIMA. For me, music is synonymous with the first vibration born from silence. The first and most direct from the source of being. The first matter - the primordial matter - will determine everything we experience, know, think and know from that moment on. Depending on the use of alchemy, healing or destruction happens from here. To listen to music and especially to create a sound journey means for me to follow this thread, to find a way to the source of existence, to the primordial. To what everything in this world turns: to the omnipresent harmony. In addition, I would like to point out again and again that this happens in harmony. Harmony means to bring opposites together. Dissolving our thinking of opposites. Letting go of our differentiation of things, instead recognizing the connections and commonalities. ALL IS RELATED - according to Jeremy Narby in his lectures. This knowledge is as old as humanity itself. We are allowed to remember again what we are, what this planet is all about, how we live in peace and most importantly where we come from - just follow the sounds to silence.

This is my first time ever sharing an ecstatic dance set online!!

A dear brother Ofir Magico asked me to share a set for the 2nd birthday of his Facebook Group "Sharing the Vibe", which is a wonderful group that is open for people to share touching music that helps us to open our hearts, minds, and bodies! The group goal is to be conduit for an abundance of music :)

I played my first ecstatic dance set over four years ago in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala and fell in love with the art & practice immediately. Since then I have traveled to and shared music in many ecstatic dance hubs around the world such as Bali, Goa, Portugal, Costa Rica, Mexico and more. I'm now based in Tulum, Mexico, where I helped to start the weekly ecstatic dance on the beach at Ikal hotel, helping to cultivate and expand the conscious community in this sacred Mayan land. 

Ecstatic dance is a very important practice for me, it's helped me to grow into a more authentic version of myself and to release a lot of insecurities and connect more deeply with my body and emotions.  I have seen many people have transformative experiences while dancing and I know many people who will tell you that this practice changed their lives for the better, this is why I feel compelled to share ecstatic dance with as many people as possible all around the world! It's truly a wonderful, healthy, healing, way to experience music live and grow as a human being.

This set was recorded live, playing under the sun in front of the crystal blue water of Tulum with an amazing group of conscious souls dancing their hearts out.  I hope you can feel the vibe!

Travelling 3 months in our mobile home with my children through 6 countries, playing ecstatic dances at awesome places like: in a big greenhouse comunity in Gent Belgium, on the mountains at the outskirts of Barcelona, in a awesome Dome on the cliffs beside the ocean in Ibiza, in an old landhouse by the sea in sintra and at the red bull academy dance studio in porto both places in Portugal.
      
During our travel we also combine my ecstatic dances with visiting some alternative way of living communities and different families that live in the nature. Educating our children in a very natural way of living, simple, ecological, conscious; aware about whats happening with this our human experience and cultivating the love of life and creation. With counted just few exceptions we were all the time in nature, climbing, surfing, trekking, dancing and just enjoying the forests, the trees, the sand dunes, the hills and cliffs, the waterfalls and lakes, the skies, the stars and the sun, the moon and the deserts; always wondering about our mother earth and this life that we have, seeing her always present.

We hear a lot music and played it. A part of them is here recorded in the podcast for agami. A very special one, that tell the history of a diferent kind of nature landscapes, emotions and most of the powerful waves of the atlantic ocean that accompany us most of the time in our nomad path. 
      
Intense times need a lot of dance and nature conection, tons of love and joy to overcome the fears and sadness.

After a little break, we are now delighted to welcome ALUNA to our podcast series.
 
ALUNA  depicts the joined talents and complementary creations of Maywa and Steffen Kirchhoff, world travellers and soul explorers. Their music project aspires to the creation and spreading of ritualistic music, leading the listeners to reconnect with the Earth, to harmonize with Nature, and with its endless wonders. It’s healing music, it’s music to dance, it’s music to love.
Their vision is embodied by their selection of sounds, idyllic melodies, and fascinating vocals, all permeated of Latin American flavours. In fact, their music project finds its origin in the Columbian forests where these beautiful souls first met, as soloist artists. The word ALUNA also descends from the natives of that land. Among the Kogi people, it stands for the “invisible spirit realm”, the source and intelligence of life. After that magic encounter, the two artists gathered again in April 2017 on the shores of the Baltic sea, where their first melodies were produced. This marked the nascence of ALUNA. Since then, the two started their spiritual journey across Europe spreading their message of reconciliation through live-sets, often uplifted by cacao ceremonies.
Talking about this set, Steffen stated “For UCR we wanted to create something really unique”, an unparalleled production by two inspired and inspiring artists, created with pure love. The enchanting blend of Maywa’s live vocals and Steffen’s organic sounds reproduces the vibe of their ceremonial live-sets. The magical journey begins with an invocation by Maywa who gently guides the listeners to connect with themselves, with their higher mind, with their essence, and to open an ethereal connection with the whole, with the elements, with the cosmos. The energy of the moon inspired her to plant the seed for this podcast. A deep travel into her sensibility and vulnerability prepared her soul to connect with the sounds and melodies that would have then composed the podcast. Those drive listeners through heavenly forests, in the inviolate Nature. A travel in space and time till the origin of the world. A dark silent world purely animated by the potential of life to exist.
Now lay back comfortable, dim the lights, make sure nobody will disturb the listening. Relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy the journey.

playing at a voodoohop party is just cathartic. it may sound strange, but they have changed my life during a very wierd period of my history. i have made friends, fell in love, became interested in producing parties and eventually became a dj because of them. i learned from them everything i know, and they still make me always try and get better. they are my most fundamental source of inspiration. this is my 4th set for voodoohop at heliodora but this one being their 10th anniversary makes it all even more special.  this set was made at my favorite spot there, by the pool, during the day, and the crow was just beautiful and so full of love. i'll never forget this moment <3 

this is the first part of my set and it has got some mistakes and moments where i kinda got lost in the vibe and skiped one or two beats when doing the mashups, but well, i was having the most fun ever. thank you so much and parabéns,  @voodoohop <3

Considered one of the pioneers of electronic organic music, Intiche‘s journey, he claims, started even before travelling from Argentina to Berlin for the first time in 1999. Indeed, the celebrated DJ and producer proclaims his “passion for music began some past lives before this one”. Nevertheless, it’s in the last twenty years of this life that the downtempo DJ has made considerable impact.

From an acoustic starting point, Intiche’s compositions find inspiration in Pachamama (“Mother Earth”) and earthy frequencies. Using traditional instruments, native to Latin America, Intiche’s trance-like productions deftly traverse history, weaving links between ancient indigenous cultures and modern club culture. Intiche’s music intends to “touch the soul” as much as make people dance and, accordingly, you’re just as likely to find him playing at Berlin’s Berghain or Beate Uwe as at ceremonies, yoga festivals, healing gatherings and “Ecstatic Dances” around the world. "Con Alma" * Ecstatic Dance Mixtape for "Sounds and Colours" in 432 Mhz - Nov´20

Janax Pacha and I have come together with our creative artistic abilities to create this unique and powerfully vibrational experience. Combining the organic and shamanic Live Looping style of Janax Pacha with a refined sonic aesthetic, we are exploring new dimensions of possibilities live sets. This set is completely live and improvised in the moment, feeding off the energy of our surrounding and audience... it is a completely new experience every time.

We performed this set recently together at the beautiful Tree House Tulum, where the jungle meets the ocean under the moon and stars. This music is a pure reflection of our essence as humans and artists, both individually and together. We are mirrors of each other and of you.

Inspired by the African cassette tapes from my father, I started playing African Disco and Funk in Amsterdam in 2010. After traveling in different continents, I started experimenting with sounds from all over the world. Where I used to play a bit more uptempo, nowadays I am focussing on a deeper and more atmospheric sound. Blending different genres and tempos is something that is appealing to me. From Nigerian funk to Amazon tribe music, everything is possible.
