really enjoyed that listen. Reminds me a bit of bowie, who covered many styles... a fine listen. Bowie on a good day, uniquely yours!

Bizarre, but I totally got into the dark and freaky vibe! Very cool!

Renaissance

It was the year 2007 or so, when I looked into the mirror, seeing my own imagery change into that of extravagant rockstar Dorian Urac. That night, I had my first and only gig. It was at a closed playground, where a shady intergalactic convention of evil overlords took place. (True story; obviously they were not quite right in the head. And no, it wasn't a dream either. They were for real, or at least in their minds they were,) After the gathering, my sensible side decided that Dorian’s true calling was to remain a cozy stay-at-home rock star.

Ever since, my alter ego is inspired by 80s new wave and cheesy outdated music from the 50s and 60s.

So here I find myself, all alone in an all pink, lila, purple, red and blue home recording studio, surrounded by robot toys, kawaii squish mallows, blythe dolls, several guitars, a bass guitar, lots and lots of pedals, drawers full of percussion instruments, a vocal mic, an 88 weighted keys midi keyboard, a few toy synths and last but not least an enormous modulair eurorack synth that covers a huge part of the wall.

Sometimes I wake up at night, pondering whether the whole Dorian Urac experience isn’t just a fragment of a wild imagination, an escape from reality. Most probably it’s all meant to end in oblivion, which is fine by me by the way. After all, isn’t life just a short rollercoaster? Me? I just scream the whole ride and then it’s over.

Now what’s your excuse to be listening to my ramblings?
