Following his widely supported debut collaborative release last February, LeftLeft has returned with his first solo release, DBGI003. This three tracker encapsulates three distinctive, enchanting environments, constantly ensuring movement provided by the characteristically heavily swung groove.

Evermore, his intriguing productional touch signals Leftleft as a master of his craft, whose labour you can hear in the new worlds which we can only surrender to and enjoy.

INGI debuts on Scuffed Recordings with three tracks spanning anthemic breaks, wonky UK techno and percussive club music.

Born in Iceland and now based in London, INGI has begun to make a name for himself in the UK’s club scene with his brand of broken UK club music, pulling on influences from across the electronic music spectrum.

His ‘Wrestle’ EP on Fly By Night Recordings was released at the end of 2021 and saw support from the likes of Madam X, Danielle, Anastasia Kristensen, and Frazer Ray.

Closing out the release is ‘Point’, whose staccato vocal stabs and rolling percussion pay homage to some of the best of UK techno and bass music.

INGI’s ‘Fade’ EP is the first release of 2022 on Scuffed Recordings and will be out on all digital platforms on 28th January, with a streaming single on 21st January.

Ever-progressive Edinburgh based party series and label Palidrone offer up their second release, this time with sounds solely from the mind of co-founder Dansa on his debut EP 'Kill The Body And The Head Will Die'.

Our featured premiere 'Algae' is a robust drum runner filled to the brim with thundering kicks, glitching undercoats, alongside an array of alarming effects.

The EP has already gone on to receive plaudits from the likes of Jamie XX, LCY, and Solid Blake to name but a few...

In 5 tracks, the producer hailing from Okayama, Japan connects the dots between though club and tripped-out experimental music with worldly influences from all abroad.

We are very excited to welcome DJ QGB to the All Centre fold for ACEN057. After releasing two exceptional LPs in 2018 and 2022, he steps out from his own label Present Tense for the first time to explore a club-ready approach to his singularly intricate sound. Across the four tracks, he strips his work down to basics and chases “expensive sounds”.

Kicking things off in a wonky half-time groove, Animus Type Beat guides the listener through a heady, dubbed-out soundscape with forceful, stuttering kicks. Mechanical vocal chops and dub sirens give way to a tense, urgent melody which sounds and then submerges back into the track’s compelling percussive explorations. 

The Truth, featuring Freesound uploader Roses1401, takes on classic UKG ideas and transposes them firmly into the future with intricate, optimising sound design. Heavily swung drums hold down a hypnotic groove while subsonic basslines dive below. Meanwhile, haunting vocal samples and powerful string swells add a dramatic edge to the track.

Powpowpoww lives up to its name with a rushing, high-energy groove punctuated by synth swoops and oddball percussive sounds. An understated bassline makes its way to the fore with the addition of a glitched-out M1 organ patch, which plays out a haunting harmony to the addictive sub pattern.

QGB closes the EP with Halloween Track, a tense, kickless excursion. A stuttering, percussive melody lays the groundwork for the track, whilst manic samples and percussion build the tension to increasingly strained levels. The arrangement gives way to a heavy reese-bass breakdown before simmering out with repeated vocal chops.
