Bandana Dee scurried out onto the field, looking back as his friend was left to die. He looked mournful. If only he could've slowed down, and lend a hand...

There wasn't much time to look at that, though. The surviving contestants looked back at the burning Estate, as the doors of it broke down. Karkat, now just a walking husk with crab-hands as sharp as Excalibur, approached, followed by Robinson, and the other enraged contestants.

As they filtered out, leaving the survivors in paralyzing fear, some sort of lifeform emerged from the Estate wholly, the flaming and weakened walls of the estate bending and breaking to accomodate. A large bear-like creature came atop, covered in flames and shadows hiding who they used to be. They roared, the fires crackled closer and closer, and everything went black for our protagonists.
