Over two decades behind the decks, and a long-term commitment to the Madrid underground scene - that’s Diskoan. His sets combine the most subversive avant-garde sounds with contemporary chamber music, creating unpredictable textures and driving listeners into the unknown.
Currently being resident for @my-pleasure, DANCE CAVE and Avalovara listening club. He also curates the official post parties of ARCO, the international art fair, as member of @a_mal_gam_a, a cell of independent musical action based in Madrid. Also founder of @calmamadrid his compromise with horizontal music has been one of his priorities in the last years.

EMC is glad to introduce Josephine' Soundscapes

Josephine’ Soundscapes is Jose Salas, audiovisual creator, art director and active promoter of alternative culture in Madrid. In his musical side he works as a DJ, radio host, promoter and programmer, in clubs and institutions, as well as in radio projects of various kinds, partly from his independent promter cell @a_mal_gam_a, together with @diskoan, or as part of other projects such as @calmamadrid, temple, @radio-relativa or BetaPública Festival at Teatros del Canal, among others.

EMC is honored to welcome Primal Code!

Davide Perrone (@pianetisintetici) and Gabriele Giuggioli jumped straight into the deep techno scene with their appearance on @hypnus Record. Since then, they've rapidly established themselves through a series of sold-out records on labels such as @kalaharioystercult, @thegodsplanet, and @konstrukt-5. By lacing their unique fusion of modern electronic music with field recordings from their travels, dreams of ancient mysteries start to vibrate in the air. To them, music is the primordial code that unlocks the doors inside of us, which leading into the realms of our imagination.

This week a great encounter thanks to TREVE network, we have the chance to have Sulk Rooms, pseudonym of Yorkshire based composer Thomas Ragsdale, the music of Sulk Rooms draws the link between euphoric electronica and smoke engulfed drones. 
Slow-morphing textures sequence and cascade, encapsulating intimate moments of colliding sound amongst fluttering arpeggios and transcending synth builds.

A predominant soundtrack artist included in many of Adam Curtis’ groundbreaking BBC documentaries as well as scoring BBC true crime series, Netflix features and Prada commercials, Sulk Rooms is part of Domino Publishing’s prestigious composer roster.

Atmospheric music for the head alongside the heart, Sulk Rooms' music captures spontaneous audio mirages and saturated imperfections within a crushing backdrop of low end and harmonic ferocity.

Nono (@nonomusik) is Noelia Rodriguez, a tireless investigator of avant-garde music, sound art, and the intersection between art and technology. As an expert curator of music and visual arts events through her platform Delicalisten, she has been responsible for the creation and success of respected electronic music series such as DNIT at CaixaForum Barcelona until 2020, and since then, the SoundSet Series at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque in Madrid. Through these platforms, she has hosted significant figures of contemporary electronic music such as Caterina Barbieri, Space Afrika, Grouper & Overmono. Additionally, she has worked as a programmer for various prestigious festivals and institutions.

A vinyl collector since childhood, Nono crafts sets that transport listeners to profound sensations, evoking a sense of calm.

Recorded on Friday, April 26th 2024 at Los Invernaderos - Madrid, during the event "Ciclo de ambient: actos de escucha".

He has been on a number of labels such as Rohs!/Lontano Series, Drift Deeper Recordings, Shimmering Moods Records, Atlantea Records, Florina Cassettes, Deep Electronics, Elm Records and more. Sebby believes when you create ambient and dub techno music, the possibilities are endless. In the future Sebby has a number of new projects coming up from mixes, compilations, Ep's and new albums. "When people listen to my music, I want them to feel relaxed and to be at peace.

She is also the creator of the event series and label Art Bei Ton, focusing on hypnotic sound and psychedelic visuals, as well as gender-balanced and fight against discrimination. EMC stands for Electronic Music Culture. The project was born in 2015 as a web radio and developed into a podcast series, music network, and collective of DJs.

We explore underground electronic music in all its complexity, and our playlists collected more than 100 mixes over the years and is now divided into two main folders: Shapes and Atmospheres.
