My new album Glue Moon is finally being loosed upon the world on the 2nd of November, and I thank you for your patience! I also want to thank all the genies, daemons and muses hiding in the walls, waiting to inspire us.
 
I'm so proud of Glue Moon. I hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we enjoyed making it.
 
The songs on the album are written with a specific place in mind, 'Glue Moon'. It takes place in the wee hours, in the woods, by a lake, under a big pale duck egg blue/green moon.
 
Glue Moon is a positive farewell to things you can’t control. It's about letting things happen organically.

An alternative powerhouse dreamt up on the sunny shores of Australia - Black Surf is a vocally immersed, Leeds three-piece, comprised of synths, guitar, and drums.

The band has received rave reviews from Rock Sound Magazine, The BBC, Classic Rock and The 405. Since the formation of the band, they have supported acts such as Lonely The Brave, Dune Rats, Francobollo and DZ Deathrays.

2017 has so far seen them embark on a bold media project - the production of a feature-length film, to coincide with the release of their debut record - working alongside a BAFTA award-winning graphic designer, TV stylist, photographer, and production company, whose credentials include Glastonbury Festival, The BBC, MTV and Forbes Magazine.
