DJ Quintessence (Lexi Battle, she/her) is one of the most diverse and musically nuanced acts you’ll find performing today. In addition to being a lead DJ and organizer of the “Ecstaturday” Ecstatic Dance in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, she is also a resident DJ in partnership with The Omni Movement, a progressive partner dance studio located in Oakland. You’ll most commonly find her playing for Fusion Dance, Brazilian Zouk, or West Coast Swing around the Bay Area, though she also holds passion for her unique take on club-style EDM. As a highly multidisciplinary DJ and music producer, she brings lessons and influences from each of the music scenes she’s involved with into all of the others, giving her a unique perspective that allows her to hybridize the elements that work from the different scenes and let them inform each other.


Quintessence is a master of the intentional dance journey. She begins with tempos and rhythms designed to warm the body up while the melodic content creates emotional depth and intrigue that set the stage for what’s to come. Each stage successively builds on what we’ve experienced in the last, taking us somewhere new that still feels part of the same story. The crescendos and climaxes interplay with periods of moderate rest and reflection to create a series of waves through various energies and moods. Finally, we come to the sentimental landing and closing stages where we can integrate what we’ve experienced as the journey nears its end, perhaps indulging in one final burst of joy or artistic expression before sending us off to what’s next.


As a dancer herself whose life has been transformed by the practice, Quintessence always plays for the party she wants to be at. Her work often defies genre, weaving through a great many of them throughout the journey in delightfully surprising ways. As she’s a multidisciplinarian with extremely broad taste, you’ll never get the same experience with DJ Quintessence twice. She’ll make you move, make you melt, take you to places beyond words, and leave you wanting more.

Liquid Bloom, founded by producer Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers | Desert Trax), is a visionary world-electronic project that bridges ancient traditions with modern production to create immersive, transformative sound journeys. Emerging in the late ’90s from explorations in organic trance for healing, it has grown into a global vessel for ceremony, dance, and inner exploration, merging shamanic instrumentation, ethereal vocals, and sacred world traditions with cutting-edge electronics. 

Collaborating with artists like Poranguí, Mose, Deya Dova, Ixchel Prisma, and Savej, Liquid Bloom has appeared at international festivals such as Ozora, Boom, Envision, and Rainbow Serpent, while also serving as a soundtrack for breathwork, psychedelic therapy, cacao ceremonies, and ecstatic dance gatherings. Its music, which has featured voices like Paul Stamets, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Ram Dass, continues to offer sonic sanctuaries for healing, connection, and transformation.

In nearly 15 years of utilizing dance as a healing modality, Scott Houston has come to believe in the inherent wisdom of the body and the power of sound to move it. Scott produces & facilitates events that are an open path to healing through a communion with the embodied self.

Scott is classically-trained musician & trumpet player of 35+ years, accredited 5Rhythms teacher, devoted Husband & Father, performance artist, as well as Co-Founder, Director, & Resident DJ of Sol Dance in Atlanta.

Musically, Scott boasts a uniquely diverse range that spans across all musical genres, masterfully being able to weave any dance-floor from a point of stillness to climax & all the way back down into the deepest states of bliss + contemplation. Because of this skillset, Scott is known regionally as a go-to sonic-curator for intentional movement-spaces of all kinds as well as truly unique, high-vibrational community experiences.

As an Atlanta based artist & DJ – Scott is known for his collaborative mindset & appearances at regional festivals, as well as local events, parties, rooftops, warehouses, and gatherings all over the city - specifically through his residency with the chic underground music collective Project B. As such, Scott has had the privilege of vibe-setting for a variety of artists including: Acid Pauli, Mihigh, Gescu, Arapu, Viken Arman, Varhat, Janaret, Bobi Stevkovski & Yoko0. Most recently having joined Tambor Party & Stan Zeff on Afro-House adventures around ATL & abroad in Egypt.

Additionally, through collaborative efforts with Reciprocity Music, Scott has had the pleasure to perform alongside Porangui, Mose, Deya Dova, Liquid Bloom, & Savej.

Reared among the three cultures of Brazil, Mexico and the Southwest United States, Poranguí was steeped in various traditional forms of music, healing and ceremony since birth. Weaving ancestral songs & indigenous rhythms from around the world as a one-man orchestra, Poranguí bridges the healing properties of sound and movement to foster our individual and collective well being.

Afro house pioneer and globally sought-after DJ/producer Stan Zeff has been instrumental in shaping the trajectory of the genre on both sides of the Atlantic. After gaining a reputation as the trailblazing visionary behind the Shock Sound System at London’s iconic Notting Hill carnival in his native UK, Stan moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2000, swiftly establishing himself as an influential force on the US soulful and Afro house scene. In 2009, he launched the highly respected and long-running Tambor Party, a monthly residency considered one of the best deep, Afro house club experiences. Establishing himself as a curator and tastemaker with a keen instinct for bringing together creative kindred spirits, Stan has introduced the North America and Europe scenes to many underground artists who’ve gone on to wider recognition via his legendary Atlanta-based party. Artists include Black Coffee, Manoo, Afro Warriors and Brendon Praise. 

A worthy ambassador for the soulful sounds of Africa, Stan has played numerous renown venues, such as Copacabana, Chelsea Music Hall and Cielo in New York, Revival Toronto, Smart Bar Chicago and Wildpitch Underground and Domaine both of Atlanta. Stan has also been a fixture at festivals around the globe, including the Afro Soul Festival in Costa Rica, Moving Deep in Amsterdam and Chosen Few in Chicago, where he has played to crowds exceeding 40,000. Other notable events include a collaboration with the Brooklyn-founded collective Daybreaker, where Stan was the headline for several features, including to an audience of 78,000 for the first-ever performance at The Man installation at Burning Man in the Nevada desert.

As a producer, Stan has shared his ethereal, soulful aesthetic spanning seminal record labels such as King Street, Nervous and Yoruba Records, as well as Stan’s own label, Tambor Music. Founded in 2012, the label has become a prominent imprint on the deep scene, with releases from homegrown US talent, African artists and, of course, Stan himself, whose eponymous releases have transformed him into a consistently top-selling producer and regular fixture on Traxsource’s Essential Afro House Charts. The London-born artist has collaborated with many influential names in deep house, including Terry Hunter, Osunlade and South Africa’s Toshi.

Stan has dedicated time to curating musical excursions that run the gamut from week-long sea-faring parties, namely the annual Tambor Cruise to holistic dance celebrations. Memorable events include Sacred Sons Convergence men’s retreats, and wellness events like Daybreaker and curating sonic accompaniments for plant medicine ceremonies. All of these festivities seamlessly fuse the healing power of music with physical and spiritual self-care. Stan continues to curate events and foster creative collaborations with fellow artists.

Stan has created seismic shifts, keeping the African-influenced genres of dance, fresh, spiritually-provoking, and, above all, fun. On his mission to spread the Afro house philosophy, Stan isn’t just about the pursuit of the dance, he stands at the intersection of African-influenced music, that incorporates spirituality and movement as a healing ritual, creating a safe space for self-expression and introspection.

Sonic love travels in many dimensions and as it relates to music, Marques Wyatt is a seminal pioneer and is undoubtedly one of the most respected DJ's in the United States and a West Coast legend. In addition to producing some of LA's most legendary clubs/events, many associate him with "DEEP," the illustrious event that he nurtured in his hometown of Los Angeles - thriving and continuing today for well over 19 years. He is one of the few DJ's that have managed to cross pollinate audiences and merge at least two generations of music fans on his dance floors. Thus, he is in demand at clubs, as well as on the festival circuit alike, stateside and abroad. Marques' unerring, knowledgeable selections are sure to stir up some emotions and known to turn huge dance floors into intimate rituals.
