Eran las cuatro de la mañana                                     
cuando medio en sueños algo oyó
en silencio fue a la ventana
y en la calle a nadie encontró.

Pero en la puerta vio a su hermano
con toda la angustia a flor de piel
le anunció con pena y desgarro
“madre muere y te quiere ver”.

En un momento duda qué hacer
pero enseguida se decide
pues piensa que si hoy existe
es gracias a quien va a fallecer.

Piensa también que son treinta años
desde la última vez que la vio
pues cuando sólo era un muchacho

This is an old Fuzzy Grubb song, the first one we wrote, and in our first practice.  Feels like home playing this one.  I miss those days, those nights, and the people who filled them.  Hope you enjoy it.  This song is for you all (you know who you are!)

This Night 

Verse 1: 

It just felt right.  It came on the air that night.  My eyes closed and I opened my arms. 

I smiled so wide, that pain brought a tear to my eye, and my dreams danced in the sky with the stars. 

Chorus:  

I don’t know what I feel anymore.  Not quite as empty as I was before 

Everything was right, uh huh, on this perfect night. 

Verse 2: 

Surrounded by friends.  Laughs that stirred up the past.  Campfire songs carry us into the night. 

A haze of beer and memories.  I felt something stir deep inside of me. 

One by one we all drifted to sleep.
