With over thirty years of Banking and Business Development experience, Mrs. Felicity Acquah has served in senior positions in various institutions such as Eximguaranty Company (GH) Limited, Women's World Banking, Agricultural Development Bank, National Investment Bank, Empretec Ghana Foundation and Merchant Bank.

In 2012, Mrs. Felicity Acquah retired as the Managing Director of Eximguaranty Company Limited, where she served for ten years. During her career, Mrs. Felicity Acquah was humbled by the numerous awards and honors she received (14 in all) in recognition of her contribution to various societal groups and business development in Ghana. In retirement, Mrs. Felicity Acquah continued to give back to society through her service on various Boards and through mentoring young women (an inspiration for her to write this book). She continued to give service in various ways until she was called by her Maker in 2022.

She held an Executive MBA in Finance, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Law, and a Postgraduate diploma in Project Appraisal and Management. She was also a certified Entrepreneurship Trainer, Business Development Advisor, Project Analyst and Development Banker by Profession. Mrs. Acquah was truly, an excellent student of life.
