This song isn't about what it seems. I wrote this in 1995 whilst on holiday in Mallorca, Spain. It's actually about by my belief that who we truly are has very deep unconditional love for all other humans, animals and inanimate objects. I created the romantic analogy to try to make it more understandable to the majority.
