“Maybe it’s Love” tells us a beautiful indie story. The hyper positive melody is carried by a perfectly balanced rhythm, interspersed by FX straight out of the 80’s. Love is in the air ?

The break & dance hit "I don't know", hyper grooving and festive, is enhanced by the voice of the vocalist Neburo, making the track more intimate and giving it a New Wave touch.

Who better than Captain Mustache himself to sublimate “Maybe It’s Love” …? The french producer, propelled in 2022 by a fantastic series of good releases on Bedrock or Kompakt to name a few, literally transforms the original in an electronic body banger !

PREMIERE - Danse Alice - Petit Monde (Each Other Remix) (Newday Everyday)

The new instance of the Kaputt's Dance series delivers four dance tracks from every corner of the wide club spectrum, each with its driving force. 

The first track comes from Mystery Affair, who has teamed up with Leonor for Get Fckd, a hypnotic bassline, swinged spaced elements, and vocals which make this song a never-ending trance. For the second instalment, the mysterious duo from Miami called Legs Benedict delivers a mushroom indie anthem called “Pele Mele”, great for a mindfulness dance. Straight from Europe, the mastermind Franz Scala hands over an italo disco dreamy force for the comp the way only he can do it. Last but not least, Peters & Pujol's debut on the label enchants us by middle eastern elements and invites us to indulge in an expansive ritual which rounds this third volume up nicely for the dancefloor.

Spanish artist James Rod joins Roam Recordings with two original mid tempo driving psychedelic offerings. The title track Baila con Satan features a warped vocal backed by an energetic swirl of electronic mischief. Metatrone goes deeper with hypnotic trance inducing arpeggios and moving synth work. Duncan Gray returns to Roam with two remixes - one for each original. Duncan's take on Baila con Satan keeps the psychedelic vibe of the ep but put it into more chill territory with live bass and guitar echoing about the ether. By contrast, Duncan Gray's remix of Metatrone picks up the tempo and brings the acid.

One of the freshest EPs on the British powerhouse NEIN a Records was made with love & darkness in Lithuania. Phun Thomas & Gūzas teamed up for the first time to bring to life an interesting three-track release featuring the intense and vibrant “Running” and two takes of the groovy and upbeat “It’s Time”, the title track: Original Mix and Different Version.

The creative lads debut on Tronik Youth’s (SXDNS050/TAKEOVER001) mighty imprint in high style by showcasing not only their own capabilities but also Vilnius’ spot-on penchant for delivering top-notch Indie Dance/Dark Disco cuts.

Premiered here, the Different Version is, yes, different from the original (🤪) despite presenting many of the same elements. It’s like if they redecorated the living room just by reorganizing the existing furniture and somehow managed to hand over something entirely fresh. The stomping attitude and the acid gait of the theme bring the message that it’s time to stop instagraming or chilling at the lounge area and go back to the dance floor, for fuck’s sake!

It ranges from EBM, New Wave, Italo Disco, Electro & Indie Dance to House & Techno and features stunning reworks by Alexander Robotnick, Daniele Baldelli & Marco Dionigi, Theus Mago, Oberst & Buchner, Schlepp Geist, Fabrizio Mammarella, Italo Brutalo, Radio Gaze, Carolain Luf, Mufti, Back From The Wave & T.M.A.

The prolific selector, producer and owner of the Italian labels Slow Motion and New Era Fabrizio Mammarella follows, lending his trademark experimental touch to the ‘Rimini’ remix. He shows off his exceptional technical talent with this exclusive track, twisting it to bring out faded vocals and mechanical undertones that evoke the inner workings of a dysfunctional machine.

The artists met at a rave in 2013 and have been pushing boundaries ever since with their unique blend of new wave, late 90’s electro, and elements of 80’s disco. Apollon Telefax brings his unique synth craft and vintage drum machines to a new EP on Sinchi Music that features solo cuts, a collaboration with Max Rockid and remixes from Jepe and Tallac.

Apollon Telefax is a deep digging vinyl enthusiast, collector of music making hardware, illustrator and lover of science fiction, nature, and surrealism. All of this feeds into his innovative musical output as he blends house, electro, Italo, synth pop and EBM into transcendent trips on labels like Disco Bump, Calypso Records and Epicure Records.

He goes it alone to open up this EP with 'Nineteen', a tough disco cut with cosmic arps and frazzled bass powering the voyage through the stars. Darkened voices are offset by ever brighter melodies in this most vibrant of tracks. The fantastic 'Shine' is a collaboration with producer, DJ, engineer and Red Bull associate Max Rockid. Max is come Kazan, Tatarstan, he’s the founder of Rockid Sound Machine and has released on labels like Burning Sole and No Hlaf Steppin. This track is defined by a deadpan emo vocal as squirming leads burrow into the night and cold Italo synth sequences dart about the mix over tight drums and bass.

Berlin-based Portuguese talent Jepe serves up two remixes that see him push his sound as he always has before on labels like Diynamic. The first, a 'Nineteen' 303 Retake, is a cacophony of percussion, analogue drums and cowbells underpinned by lively acid lines and a slapping bassline. The second, a 'Shine' Refax, is more expansive, with big chords designed to get hands in the air and elevate a dance floor.

Tallac, an American DJ and producer based in Berlin, brings his mix of house, disco and Italo back to this label, having appeared here before. His remix of 'Shine' is an all out explosion of colour and retro-future disco grooves with steamy vocals providing the finishing touches in style.

This is another characterful EP of left of centre sounds from Sinchi Music and as always with this socially minded label, sales profits will be donated to the Sinchi Foundation to support indigenous peoples worldwide.
