It is a pleasure to welcome back Darkroom Dubs favourite Undo (aka Gabriel Berlanga) with Naranja Limon - a vibrant 2-track EP packed tight with luscious synths, rich tones, and evocative melodies. With an impressive back catalogue of original productions, open-minded live and DJ sets, and his imprint, Factory City, Gabriel is an established contributor to Catalonia's ever-evolving underground electronic music scene and beyond. 

The feel-good title track, Naranja Limon, has a Balearic optimism throughout its five minutes of blissful energy. A laidback, joyous bassline engulfs you in a warm ray of sunshine, whilst light and airy synths float and flutter away like leaves in a gentle breeze, giving the feeling of having stumbled into a paradisical setting, far away from the constraints and worries of everyday reality. The track perfectly encapsulates the uplifting feeling of a sun-soaked dancefloor filled with smiling faces no matter where you turn, the perfect soundtrack for a carefree summer afternoon Terrace session. 

The second track, Liquid, flows in a more emotionally charged, melancholic direction, sculpted by an array of complex sonic elements which meld together to form a rich electronic soundscape. A powerful arpeggiator with a warm, gritty character leads the charge and provides the dynamic, raw energy. A stuttering, jittery pad fills the peripheral space, immersing you in euphoric atmospherics. The break then reveals a contrastingly delicate, lush, ethereal melody which emerges from the dense harmonics,  inviting you to close your eyes and be swept away, guiding you deep into the depths on a revitalising mission.

Kalexis & Paulor return to Riotvan one year after their initial appearance with their „In Between EP“ inviting a fresh spectrum of global talent to reimagine their cosmic soundscapes. The release, arriving digitally on December 13th, features remixes by Skelesys, label head Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht, and Mala Ika who are adding fresh energy and creative depth to the originals.
The trio of remixes delves deep into the auditory core of „In Between“ whith each artist introducing their own flair while respecting the integrity of Kalexis & Paulor’s initial work. From industrial rhythms to bright, disco-tinged atmospheres, each reinterpretation expands the EP’s original ambiance into new territory.
Going Through The Void (Skelesys Remix) - The EP’s atmospheric opener with only bass guitar driving its rhythm, receives a darker, pulsating treatment from Skelesys. Introducing a kick, electric guitar, and sharper snare, Skelesys amplifies the track’s heartbeat, weaving in Berlin’s raw edge with South American intensity. At 105 BPM, this version brings a steady structure while remaining faithful to the mystique of the original. Lashes (Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht Remix) - Peter Invasion and Gregor Habicht take the hypnotic, distortion-heavy “Lashes” to chaotic new heights. Layered with arpeggiated sounds their remix adds a structured dynamism that contrasts yet complements the track’s underlying turbulence. The result is a chaotic harmony, capturing the track's essence while expanding its auditory impact.
Energy (Mala Ika Remix) - Taking inspiration from In Between’s standout dancefloor gem “Energy,” Paris-based Mala Ika channels Kraftwerk-like vibes with an elevated pitch and vocal stabs that infuse a lighter, almost disco feel. The remix adds brightness and an irresistible house rhythm, lifting the darker original into a pulsing, robotic world, creating a track that feels equally human and mechanical.
The „In Between“ remixes offer fresh perspectives on Kalexis & Paulor's sound, inviting everyone to explore vibrant new dimensions of the original tracks. This digital-only bundle is a must-listen for enthusiasts of globally inspired electronica.

PREMIERE : Kalexis & Paulor - Energy (Mala Ika Remix) (Riotvan)

We welcome 2025 with the first EP of the year from Side Up Works, SUW036, a vibrant collaboration between Ludviq and Nick Hanzo. "Pandemonium," featuring das mokuleien, opens with hypnotic rhythms and energizing sonic layers, while "Furry Goblin" takes us to a playful and experimental territory, with immersive textures and an irresistible groove.

The remixes bring even more magic: Poulper gives "Pandemonium" an ethereal and dreamlike touch, Teniente Castillo transforms "Furry Goblin" with an intense, dark groove, and ID_UA offers a minimalist reinterpretation that highlights the finest details.

Ludviq & Nick Hanzo - Furry Goblin (Teniente Castillo Remix)

Panthera, part of the Polaris family, needs no introduction.
The French producer is back at the start of the new year with two euphoric new tracks, rich in synthesizers, two pieces of sheer happiness.
On the remix duties, AFFKT gives us a fantastic reinterpretation of the song ‘Uprising’.

We start with ‘Uprising’, a retro-futuristic track that takes us on a space trip with its nostalgic pads and celestial chords. While the voices resonate skywards.

The adventure continues with the brilliant ‘Dynasty’, a disco track with a driving, unifying melody. Its progression is pure and its catchy vocals work in perfect synergy. A pure moment of escape on the dancefloor.

AFFKT's remix is an extraordinary reinterpretation, he transforms ‘Uprising’ into a thrilling, urgent weapon, with crushing rhythms and acid synth loops that rumble with high energy, while additional vocal melodies are of impeccable quality.

Dynasty

The second EP of 2025 takes Logical Records to the next level. This time, the journey leads straight to Paris with Decklan, a talented French producer who delivers the label’s 92nd release - a sonic trip filled with indie dance and dark disco.

Three original tracks bring high energy, deep melodies, and an irresistible groove that will set the dancefloor on fire. A hypnotic, modern sound with a deep essence makes this release truly unique.

To take things even further, three explosive remixes push the tracks into new sonic dimensions. Akrav and Leonor bring their signature styles, while Iván de la Rouch, the label’s manager, closes the EP with a masterful reinterpretation—making this release a standout for the year.

Decklan - Rush Rider

Dark Utopia, the boundary-pushing alias of Manchester’s Ricky El-Qasem, channels a lifetime of sonic rebellion. Once known as DJ SHO in the ’90s, El-Qasem carved his legacy through gritty Hip-Hop sets and Rave-ready Techno, earning a reputation as a purveyor of dance-floor chaos. Decades later, his evolution into Dark Utopia defies categorisation, merging his storied past with a maverick approach to production. “The Change Board” – his forthcoming four-track EP on Sweden’s imprint When Disco Goes Wrong – embodies this ethos, blending warped basslines, unrelenting rhythms, and lysergic textures into a defiant cocktail. It’s a manifesto against genre orthodoxy, where anarchic acid squelches and primal grooves collide, daring listeners to abandon expectations.

Premiered here, “T-Jazz” is a misdirection of the finest order. Despite its title, the track sidesteps Jazz entirely, instead hurling listeners into a vortex of frenetic percussion, rubbery basslines, and neon-lit synths. Its frenzied energy channels the lawless spirit of early Rave, with speech-like vocal snippets and a searing 303 line amplifying the chaos. Built for peak-time havoc, the theme thrives on contradiction – its “Jazz” lies not in instrumentation but in the improvisational clash of elements: Uptempo beats spiral alongside hypnotic loops, creating a track that’s both unhinged and meticulously calculated.

PREMIERE750 // Dark Utopia - T-Jazz (Original Mix)

Beyond The Struttosphere blast back into orbit with the release of ‘Planet Ogo’ on Discolypso. The title track is inspired by progressive trance and fuses a driving chug bassline with a hypnotic 303 sequence, distorted techno stabs and a trifecta of meandering arpeggiators, creating a wormhole through space and time. Thunderous power chords and nuanced percussion layering guide the track towards a cosmic void, echoing with mind-bending vocal samples from the cult sci-fi film ’12 Monkeys’, before a high-voltage crescendo transports you to the Planet Ogo. Remixes are provided by two masters of the scene: South Korean cosmic disco royalty, Shubostar, applies her trademark sound, introducing playful melodies, kinetic arps and retro-futuristic synths that elevate its seismic breakdown into outer space. Spanish new wave maestro, K-Effect, provides a more psychedelic contribution, weaving in tripped-out FX, clinical drum arrangements and low-end synths that propel the tune towards its ominous conclusion.

‘Cosmic Stuntman’, the second offering, is as intrepid as its name suggests. The first half is a minimalist soundscape defined by crunchy guitar riffs, energetic tambourines, cowbells and an array of spacey FX, before the second opens in throttle with a ferocious mid-range bass, cutting snares and cosmic pads that build in magnitude as the track reaches its spellbinding climax. Dionigi, alumnus of Italian cosmic sound movement, remixes the track into a low-slung chugger complete with glitchy vocoders that resemble scrambled UFO transmissions.

The EP concludes with bonus remixes of BTS back catalogue hits. ‘Replicants’, originally released on Mélopée Records in 2021, is resurrected by Berlin-based electronic rock n’ roll band, Tegel Boys, who transform the track into a krautrock-infused kosmiche space odyssey perfect for tuned-in psychic travellers. Mexican dark wave legend, Rigopolar, follows with a tranced-out remix bolstered by robotic arpeggiators and mechanical guitars that propel you to Mach-10. Completing the package are reinterpretations of ‘Storming Heaven’ which first appeared on Emerald & Doreen Recordings and pays homage to Jay Steven’s eponymous book on LSD and the American dream. Argentinian dark disco producer and member of Ralph Lawson’s 2020 Soundsystem, Julian Sanza, cranks up the funk and reconfigures the track into a Balearic sunset trip. UK godfather of chug Rich Lane isolates the original’s soaring guitar solo and reimagines the track into a mesmerising downtempo chugger tinged with psychedelia.

Espacio Cielo is proud to present Synthetize, the latest work from Spanish producer and DJ Calystarr. Scheduled for release on April 22, 2025, this EP represents a refined synthesis of diverse electronic influences, carefully crafted into four distinctive tracks.

With performances at major festivals such as Electrolunch and Interestelar Sevilla 2025, his impact on the contemporary electronic landscape continues to grow.
