Yin and Yang are equal. 
Male and Female
Love and Hate
Night and Day.
The Balance. 
Opposites. 

I've written Yin as contentfullness and Yang as disappointment. 
The person in my story that represents Yang is a young person with little life experience that has been betrayed be those dearest to them. They would rely on those close to make them content. 
You need to be happy with yourself to be truly happy. This is brought about by wisdom, becoming wiser to your choices through experience.
These choices include the people you trust, the people you befriend, the people you choose to be intimate with, those you chose to spend the rest of your life with.
These are all factors that can define the imbalance of being content.

In the end I know I only gotta learn to love myself,
When I do that, it goes beyond the self.
If I’m looking externally for self-esteem,
I’m not realising that love comes from deep within.
Humble enough to accept my mistake,
As I climb onto the shoulder of the greats.

Beyond The Self

Fresh, philosophical, genre crossing, across oceans. Form Subtract are the latest band to join the new wave of progressive metal washing over the globe. With ex-Fellsilent/Monuments singer Neema Askari and upcoming multi-instrumentalist and metal producer Jon Caywood, Form Subtract have already finished their first EP "Autonomist" and are on track to begin touring by summer 2020.
