Underground Deception is the latest self release from Stash Magnetic. The inspiration for the song came riding in on our psychic theta waves late one night. A musician friend that had passed away messaged through the timelines to offer the words 'underground deception' and the threads of the song wove into shape from there. Setting up the analog soundscape: the sonic inspiration for the track is Roland infused with a heavy dose of Moog. 707 percussion is immersed in an 808 foundation, channelling filtered 'space voices,' patched through a classic Moog ladder filter. This work has been timed to release in synch with April's Full Pink Moon 2025, after the galactic frequencies of March's lunar & solar eclipses surrounding the Spring Equinox opened a rare portal of infinite possibilities. Rude Audio's Dub Mix (aka Mark Ratcliff), is a lush, dark, subterranean wormhole with an infectious 303. Welcome to the unified field of dub spacetime! So pleased Mark could join us on this journey. Stash Magnetic's 'Panic in the Chillout Room' edit is a message honouring all who are flying in the face of a dark techno feudalist agenda. A healthy dose of the Techno antidote. Music is medicine. Vyvyan is Bonar Bradberry’s solo project stripping club music to its core while expressing a deep love for dance music culture. His 2022 debut album, Y, balanced rough-edged percussion with warped melodies. "Waterslide EP" pushes this sound further with Gallegos stepping in to remix the monumental title track.

Bradberry is also known for his work as one half of the Leeds-based duo PBR Streetgang.

Originally "Back in the Days" released in 2004 on Resopal Schallware marked Tigerskin as a torchbearer for pop-oriented groovy House, reviving the raw energy of early 90s bleeps, swung beats, and untamed dance floor spirit but transforming it with the technical possibilities of the early 00s into his trademark romantic vision.

From the pulse of “Dance Now” to the cringey charm of “Party in My Car,” Tigerskin proved that Back in the Days was more than a look backward - it was a bridge between era's: a reminder that the roots of club culture still grow, still breathe, still move people.

Two decades on, this re‑release doesn’t just bring back nostalgia - it reminds us that reminiscing every once in a while can push creativity. The album and a few EPs around it were the start of a pretty different approaches to club music for Tigerskin, that led to several big tracks and remixes, some now considered to be classics by many. 

The three formerly unreleased and slightly more club-oriented bonus tracks had been recorded the same year but were amongst many that didn’t make it to the album.
