"I’ve Had a Love" is the new album by New York singer Frank Dain, which features his heartfelt vocals on 16 tracks. Among the tracks are "Embraceable You" (George and Ira Gershwin); "Hello, Young Lovers" (Rodgers and Hammerstein); "Corcovado" (Antonio Carlos Jobim); "Unusual Way" (Maury Yeston); "I Didn't Know What Time It Was" (Rodgers and Hart); "Whistling Away the Dark" (Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini); "Let's Fall in Love" (Harold Arlen and Ted Koehler); "The Twelfth of Never" (Paul Francis Webster and Jerry Livingston); and "Lazy Afternoon" (John Latouche and Jerome Moross). The album was beautifully arranged and orchestrated by pianist Kathleen Landis who, along with Kurt Peterson, served as producer. Claire-Frances Sullivan was associate producer. Kathleen's arrangements were beautifully rendered by some of NYC's first-rate musicians.

Vocalist Frank Dain has appeared at Carnegie Hall/Weill Recital Hall, Café Pierre, Waldorf Astoria, The Knickerbocker, Kitano Jazz, Don’t Tell Mama, Metropolitan Room, Laurie Beechman Theatre, Pangea, Chelsea Table + Stage, Steve McGraw’s, and Danny’s Skylight Room. He made his NYC The Town Hall debut at The Mabel Mercer Foundation’s summer Cabaret Convention entitled "Grand Nights for Singing" and performed at the Foundation’s first convention at Philadelphia’s Prince Theatre. He was nominated for a MAC Award (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) as Male Vocalist. 

Frank’s debut CD "I Thought About You" received critical praise from critics across the country. The CD features 13 songs including “The Way You Look Tonight,” “Night and Day,” “You Go to My Head,” and “All the Things You Are”/“The Nearness of You” as well as Rick Jensen’s haunting “In Passing Years.” 

Bill Miller of All Music Guide said, “Frank knows how to use his vocal equipment to full advantage,” Stephen Peithman of Capital Public Radio said, “Frank Dain has a warm intensity to his voice that suits the romantic nature of the songs,” Show Music declared this “is a thoroughly romantic affair, in no small part because of Dain’s warmly expressive baritone,” and Cabaret Scenes’ Jeff Rossen enthused “a beautiful voice infused with lyrical interpretations that tear at the very core of a song’s heart.”
