Finding ground in Ghent, a small yet creative and lively town in Belgium, Moodfamily runs a record label and booking agency. Having emerged in 2014, it has sprouted from existing friendships and a mutual understanding and appreciation of electronic music. We represent artists pursuing their own unique sound, be it within their own tracks, visual productions or DJ-sets. 

Most important, the Moodfamily is telling you their story. The fruits of a long and devoted journey. We aim to reach people with our dedication to evoke a certain feeling. A particular mood.  

In the heart of Berlin, at the foot of the Kreuzberg, we founded Mother Recordings, a record label full of warmth, home to artists whose hearts beat for the true house and disco sound, full of passion and love for the music. We think a label should be more than the name on a cover. That is why the same sweat and lifeblood we leave in the clubs of Berlin, of Germany, and the rest of the world is now fueling Mother Recordings.

Our little family of ambitious music maniacs is standing at the beginning, innocent still in our infancy, ready to fearlessly set off on a big adventure. Why? Because we know she will be there for us, the mother, her arms wide open, offering protection – Mother Recordings stands behind us with this special mother's love that is made to last forever.

Snatch! is Riva Starr’s first label project and the aim behind it is to push new talents and well-established forward thinking producers. Expect slamming fresh house cuts from some of the most exciting talent in the scene.

BIO
Sous Sol's music is generated by two individuals, Teo and Lukas, who are putting their entire personalities into their art.

At the young age of six, Teo learned to play the piano, which later inspired over a decade of DJing. Lukas first found his love for DJing in 1996 and has since incorporated other sounds into his repertoire, including 12 years experience with the saxophone. Both artists have used their musical backgrounds to excel in creating unique tracks.

For the last two years the dynamic duo has been working hard in the studio. Since, they’ve seen a rapid increase in their fan base and demand for their music from both, local and foreign clubs alike, which leads to shows at Kater Blau, Wilde Renate and “Mir Dir Festival” in Berlin, Habitat in Hamburg or Plötzlich am Meer Festival in Poland for example. In Switzerland Sous Sol are veterans mixing music and can frequently be heard at popular club such as Nordstern, Hive, Friedas Büxe, Supermarket or Klaus in Zurich (Zurich), as well as at ROK and Uferlos in their hometown Lucerne.

Their releases have been published on imprints like Sol Selectas, Katermukke, Gorge's Re:fresh Your Mind and on Mihai Popoviciu's Cyclic Records. Additional stations include: What Happens, Bondage Music, Hive Audio and Marcus Meinhardt's Heinz Music. Lukas is also the manager of the club Uferlos in Lucerne, which gives him a good look behind the scenes.
