I'm a product of the eighties (although born way before that) and a sucker for undergound disco and space funk.
I have been collecting and mixing music since the days of Greg Wilson and Ben Liebrand and was right there at the start of Nu Disco way before Daft Punk.

Yam Who? is the internationally known alter ego of the disco producer Andy Williams. One of the most consistent DJ’s on the circuit, every weekend you’ll find him rocking the dance floor at clubs & festivals around the globe including Glitterbox, Lovebox, Ministry Of Sound, Horse Meat Disco, Love International. He’s featured on line ups with the world’s finest selectors including Greg Wilson, Joey Negro, Melvo Baptiste, Tiger & Woods, Purple Disco Machine & Danny Krivit.

Ambitious & tirelessly active alongside his partner in crime Tom Laroye they are signed to Glitterbox Recordings as Qwestlife. Having already released 2 chart busting singles ‘Give Me A Minute’ &  ‘Hit It Off’ they are set to unleash their block party rocker ‘Fever’ feat Sugarhill Gang, Melle Mel, Scorpio & Siedah Garrett. 

Behind the creation of 3 record labels Midnight Riot, Black Riot & Ism, theyl have a diversity of sounds with a line-up of producers, DJ’s including the world’s finest Eli Escobar, Ron Basejam, Lenny Fontana, John Morales and many more. For a further taster check out the recent collab alongside Hifi Sean with the New York legend Arthur Baker’s‘ on his classic 1979 re-release ‘Reachin’.

Since 2016 he’s been the Mixmag disco editor, providing a cutting edge platform for the disco, boogie & house modern scene, not forgetting his production touches for the legendary NYC disco band Odyssey. Following on in 2016 he released & co produced with Detroit’s Amp Fiddler’s their critically acclaimed album ‘Motor City Booty’. 

Over the years he’s added disco fever to Grace Jones (PIAS), John Legend (Sony Records) Josh Stone (Virgin Records). His party led productions have been released on Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Ubiquity and with Joey Negro’s Z Records as Yam Who? & Jaegerossa ‘Grateful’ featuring Jacqui George, not forgetting one of biggest Traxsource Top 100 tunes of 2018, Dubplate Disco’s  ‘Pick Up’ (Yam Who edit). To round off 2019 look out for the forthcoming remixes compilation on Midnight Riot.

Dr Packer is an alias of West Australian Drum & Bass DJ/Producer 'Greg Packer' set up for Remixes & Edits of mainly retro music such as 70's , 80's , 90's Soul , Disco , Funk , Hip Hop & Reggae , Greg although known more for 'Liquid Drum & Bass' regularly plays sets of 'Old School Funk , Disco , Hip Hop Etc' purchasing his first record in 1982 at the age of 10 'Grandmaster Flash - The Message' 

Moving on to the 90's shortly after emigrating to 'Perth Western Australia' greg purchased his first pair of decks in 1989 making this year his 28th year behind the decks , in 1991 he won the WA DMC's and defended the title in 1992 but by this time greg preferred Club Dj-ing and longer sets rather than a 5 minute scratch battle routine... 

Greg then moved onto 'Jungle & Drum & Bass' music in the early 90s and often regarded as a pioneer of that sound in Australia winning many awards and went semi global touring (UK , Europe , Asia , New Zealand & Australia) 

In 1998 Greg took up production and set up his own studio running his own label 'Interphase Music' He produced over 100 tracks & remixes under the name 'Greg Packer' and was signed to many other labels in the UK & USA including LTJ Bukem's  'Good Looking Records'

By 2013 greg began mixing entire sets from CD therefore searching for music online , he started picking up re-edits and he loved the way the original songs were beefed up and sounded fat on a club system but the original vibe was still there , these edits were quantised perfectly meaning you were able to beat mix them flawlessly unlike playing the original vinyl... 

In August 2013 Greg Produced his first two edits under the name 'Dr Packer'  which has caught the attention of labels such as 'Defected / Glitterbox , Z Records , Disco Dat , Hot Digits , Masterworks Music & Midnight Riot' resulting in a number one chart position for every EP release so far on the 'Juno Download sales chart' 

2015 saw 'Dr Packer' take the number one spot on the 'Traxsource Best Nu-Disco Producer' and number 5 for 2016 , he has had the opportunity to officially remix music by artists such as 'Bootsy Collins' and 'Robert Owens' and attack the back catalogs of Simon Dunmore's Defetced label and Joey Negro's 'Z Recordings' 

2016 saw Dr Packer break out globally behind the decks in places such as 'London , Ibiza , Croatia , Scotland ,  Denmark , Germany , Singapore , Bali , Abu Dhabi & all over Australia' playing alongside some heavyweights such as 'Dimitri From Paris , Joey Negro , John Morales , Greg Wilson , LNTG ,  Basement Jaxx , Crazy P , Sonny Fodera ,  Jazzi B (Soul II Soul) Faze Action'
