90年代後半、地元福岡のVinylカルチャーと音楽体験を機にDJ活動を開始。2000年代に香港へ拠点を移して以来、アジアを拠点に海外各地でプレイを重ね、多様なブースやダンスフロアで音楽, サウンド, クラウドと自身との深い結びつきを築いてきた。長年過ごした香港では今も活動を継続し、現在拠点を置くベトナムではサイゴン, ハノイ, ダナンなどで活動中。

Techno, Houseを中心に、Electro, Breakbeats, Trance, Ambientなどを新旧織り交ぜた選曲とロングミックスによる多層な音のレイヤーは滑らかに広がりトリッピーなグルーヴを生み出す。不定期開催のパーティー “Junktion” では世界中から感性豊かなアーティストを招聘し、様々なスタイルの音楽と深く交差しながら音楽観を更新し続けている。

Debuted in 1994 with the "Enitokwa EP" from East Edge Records, a subsidiary of the legendary club Space Lab Yellow, at the dawn of  Tokyo  techno scene. Based on Industrial, Noise, Techno, House, and Ambient, he continues to pursue the sublimation of consciousness beyond the pleasure and ecstasy of music. His album Floating Works 1996-1999 (SONIC PLATE) released in 1999 was published in ele-king books' 90's Disc Guide Japanese music edition (2021) and has been handed down through the ages.
In recent years, in 2021, "Re-Promo" (live rehearsal sound source in France in 2001) from Berlin's Future Friend Music was reissued as 2×12”vinyls, played on GiGi FM on NTS Radio. The album "2069" released in 2016 has been highly evaluated overseas, such as being posted on the chart of Daniel Avery. Also, the unit "EYS" with YSK, the leader of Kitakyushu Sound Spaceα `s 1st. Album “Palette” (Muzan Editions 2023), and the 2nd album "Steganos-graphia" of the electronic music trio "Kruispunt" with IEGUTI and MAYUKo (Hanging in the wall 2023 ) has just been released. His latest solo work can be heard on MEDIUM AMBIENT COLLECTION 2022 (Medium Music 2022) and his own label non-entertainment-research.

1994年に伝説的クラブSpace Lab Yellow傘下のEast Edge Recordsから”Enitokwa EP”にて東京テクノ黎明期にデビュー。Industrial, Noise, Techno, House, Ambientをベースに音楽の快楽と恍惚の先にある意識昇華を追求し続けている。1999年にリリースされたアルバムFloating Works 1996-1999 (SONIC PLATE)はele-king booksの90’s Disc Guide 邦楽編（2021)に掲載され時代を超えて語り継がれている。
近年の作品おいても2021年にべルリンのFuture Friend Musicから"Re-Promo”(2001年フランスでのライブリハーサル音源)がアナログLP2枚組で再発 、NTS RadioにてGiGi FM にプレイされ、2016年にリリースされたアルバム”2069”収録曲がDaniel Averyのチャートに掲載される等海外でも評価されている。また北九州Sound Space α主宰 YSKとのユニット"EYS"の 1st. アルバム　Palette（Muzan Editions 2023) や IEGUTI、MAYUKoとの電子音楽トリオ”Kruispunt” の2nd Album ”Steganos-graphia”（Hanging in the wall 2023)もリリースされて間もない。ソロ最新作はMEDIUM AMBIENT COLLECTION 2022 (Medium Music 2022 )や自身のレーベルnon-entertainment-researchで聴くことができる。

Kyomi is a DJ based in Tokyo's underground psychedelic dance music scene which is connected to deep listening culture, active throughout Japan. Her music selections span across genres, creating a collective space of her senses, simultaneously experimental and hednistic DJ sets that flow on to the dance floor. Kyomi's range is wide, from deep meditative to dynamic and energetic sets, inviting the audience into her orbit with her unique and alternative signature sound.
