I’d guess you could call this some sort of Jazz Rock Fusion ?
I let ZOA run until it had reached an end point where it had a repeating loop, called according to Wikipedia an Oscillator (in general) and specifically in this case, a Blinker which repeated every two cycles (Period 2).
This provided a predictable set of notes which went through ChordJam and then Polythemus to drive 5 * MoodUnit Waverley (of various types) and 3 * DRC.
Rozeta Bassline played BeatHawk Bass and Mid East Drummer provided percussion.
I provided the manic GeoShred solo with lots of mistakes but I enjoyed it  so what the hell 😊

Back in September 2025 on the Loopy Pro Forum, Paul (@pbelgium) posted a 4 bar acoustic guitar loop ‘Free For All’ and invited contributions using this starter that could be cut up and mangled as anyone pleased.

A further contribution featuring horns and trumpets came from @McD.

I’ve used both samples with various manipulations in a range of settings to end up with a composition framing Rhodes piano and fretless bass solos. Hope you enjoy the journey. Thanks for listening.

Nine instances of Cherry Audio’s 80's inspired hybrid analog/digital Dreamsynth DS-1 featuring a selection of presets a very organised friend of mine highlighted as his favourites. Showing off my prog and fusion roots, with preset names like Zawinula, Marcus Fretless Solo and a First Light Berlin rhythm patch, the track built itself around the sounds. It’s a desktop Synth and I’m also using a Mozaic script I wrote on iPad to enable those pentatonic harp glisses. Just a bit of fun.
