Kidnap is an artist whose music overflows with emotion - rich and powerfully evocative.

Recording in London, Kidnap (real name Matthew Relton) likens his process to that of a sculptor, starting with a block of sound and chopping away until a shape emerges. As such, each song exists ornately carved with a handcrafted subtly.

Still just 33, Relton is already something of an industry veteran. Releasing his first single in 2012 kicked off an eight-year stretch of global touring that came to a grinding halt when the pandemic put the world on pause.

2024 marks a new chapter for Kidnap, with his next body of work on the horizon. Set against the backdrop of a changing world and the arrival of a baby daughter, Relton offers a bittersweet reflection on the passing of time. ‘It’s about looking back on the last 12 years — the touring and the friends and the sleeplessness,” says Relton, “and realising that in order to embrace the life I have now, I need to let it all go.’ The music shimmers with nostalgia. Signature sad melodies dance deftly around commanding synth lines, altogether sounding like an artist with a new found sense of purpose.

The Roustabouts are a collaboration between two distinguished creative forces, whose dexterous digits have delved into a deluge of diverse delicacies (or pies, if you will). 

These devilish dandies share a penchant for the decadent and diasporic, spinning sounds from bygone eras and exotic lands, all served up with a delightful modern twist.

Their assault on your senses is only elevated by their extravagant theatrical nature, mixing props and costume in dramatic fashion. 

The duo's eclectic collection includes, but is not limited to, balkan beats, electro swing, classic and modern cabaret and even the odd grin inducing mash-up. Their assortment of awesome audio oddities is diverse enough to not only compliment, but become the catalyst to an unforgettable event. 

You might have caught sight of members of The Roustabouts carrying out their carnivalesque craft at some of the most prolific cabaret and burlesque events in London, including The Box, The Boom Boom Club, Torture Garden, Circus, White Mischief, Gypsy Hotel, The Tassel Club and Bestival.

Abby Nurock's DJ journey began in 2002 with the purchase of her treasured Technics SL/1210 turntables. Renowned for her seamless blends and eclectic mixes, she is a master of her craft and a true quality music selector, drawing musical inspiration from early Chicago/Detroit House, 80s electronica, disco, jazz and classical music. Growing up in a family of musicians, her love for all things analogue was engrained. 

Abby is known for her versatility as a DJ who keeps dance floors ablaze with her diverse showcasing of house, disco, electronic, acid and techno.

Over the years, Abby has cultivated a devoted following and gained recognition for her various club and radio residencies in South Africa. She has performed at multiple festivals and label showcases across the globe including Mixmag Lab Sessions, Fabric, Secret Garden Party (UK), Zurich Music Week,
Ultra Resistance, Defected, Lighthouse Festival, The Soundgarden, Mambo Classics, Wolfkop, Bazique among others. 

She has shared the stage with artists such as Axel Boman, Ralph Lawson, Bonobo, Monolink, Super Flu, Andhim, Black Coffee, Desiree, Shimza, Joris Voorn, Adam Beyer, Kölsch, RY X, Nightmares on Wax.

Abby’s passion for vinyl continues with the development of ‘SAMP’ Records’ (South African Music Press), of which she co-directs. Its label services include small-batch vinyl pressing, licensing and distribution with the aim to elevate South African vinyl culture and international recognition. 

Over her career, Abby has crafted a unique brand and reputation under the hashtag #Strictlyvinyl as a die-hard vinyl music selector whose personality is shared through her authentic DJ performances.

Author, composer, performer and conductor of his own orchestra, Worakls is a modern artist.
Although trained in classical music, he quickly gained recognition through his fusion of classical music and electronic tones thanks to which he meets his first successes as an artist, but also as the founder of the labels Hungry Music and Sonate Records. 

Worakls brings a unique and modern sound signature to his music by mixing in his influences (mainly classical, rock and electro). Powerful orchestrations, stirring melodies and dreamy sounds are distinctive features of Worakls’ music. On stage, he conducts his own orchestra, the “Worakls Orchestra” with which he plays his music in the biggest venues in Europe for a show that’s as beautiful to see as it is to hear.
