This song is a story dedicated to someone who caused a great deal of pain over a long period of time, and the memory of that relationship remains to this day a low water mark in my life.

I found out by writing this song, just how cleansing it is to just take a piece of paper and the guitar and sit down for a while and really focus on the bad stuff that's happened in my life and then get them out forever.

So when I was done, I felt that I really could move on with my life and my thinking and not stay stuck in that same mindset as I had been for years before me writing this one.

It's very personal to me, and perhaps It might become that to you who listens as well, we all go through bad times in our lives, weather it's drinking or drugs or other destructive behaviours, there are always a way out if it and it always starts, continues and ends with you and what you want to accomplish while making the change towards a better and a more healthier life in general.

A bad world is run by bad leaders, but if you try to run your own world without the interference of external forces and really focus on doing so to the extent where you almost eradicate yourself, when you come back from that, you will feel that the world has turned and what use to be a challenge for you in the past, is now to your advantage instead.

It's the "desertmarch" that's the trickiest part and not giving in and going back and settling for less than you deserve!

The Underclass Academy is multi-artist Hans Gustavsson's way of describing his own and others' existence in text and tones. After striving for most of his adult life not to feel alienated, 

Hans turned his perspective and instead embraced what had previously been an enemy and adversary in existence. As a result, his texts are not infrequently written from a socially critical perspective and with a focus on the tribulations and failures of the little person. 

But also those who steal, exploit and rule only for the purpose of self-improvement without any consideration of what kind of impact it leaves on others in their vicinity. As a musician, he continues to create a mixture of singersongwriter/rock with a variety of influences seasoned with impressions and different perspectives. 

Over the years, Hans Gustavsson has appeared on several published recordings, both as a band member and also as a solo artist. Other expressions are jewelry art in the form of rings and other things made of metal wire of various sizes and types that are joined according to the traditions and crafts of the "travelling people".
