Runaway Train

I performed this new song at the Cape Town Folk n Acoustic Music Festival at the Baxter Theatre on the 26th July.
I recently had a terrible accident and was immobile for a few months. The experience offered great lessons and teachings. 
I had to learn acceptance – I had learn how to receive – as the charity bestowed on me from my friends and family was overwhelming  - and I had to learn to trust in the process.
I would like to quote William Booth “The greatness of a man's power is the measure of his surrender.”
This song is brand new – it speaks of my recent journey and it was the first time it has ever been performed – I hope you enjoy it – 
It features James Stewart on piano and backing vocals.

A song written and recorded by Kevin Hinds while he was signed to EMI in the early 70's. The quality is rather poor as the original master tapes were all sadly lost in the great EMI fire. This was taken off a copy of the master that Kevin had in his personal possession.
