It’s a huge honour for us to work with Massive Attack, a band who visual output has been as important to us as their music. Vocalist Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja first gained fame as a graffiti artist and member of the ‘The Wild Bunch’. Karmacoma was a single from their second album Protection released in 1995.

Snow Ghosts music ignores genre considerations and its ability to capture mood and feeling is no doubt a major factor in the use of the band’s music for a multitude of film and radio spots, from the official trailer for ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ to the recent studio interview on Apple Beats 1 Radio.

Both songs on this new release feature intensely personal lyrics from Hannah singer/songwriter for Snow Ghosts, with a positive message running through the songs as she explains: “‘Vetiver’ is about rebirth and renewal after being hurt by someone, I liken it to bursting out of a chrysalis and feeling the freedom of flight for the first time whilst ‘Dawn’ is about an ongoing battle with a loved one. Trying to fix a relationship through pure determination and hope.”
