When we woke up at 10AM Friday morning to our manager shaking us and saying 'guess what you guys are playing Mainstage in 6 hours' we told him to fuck off and let us sleep and his joke wasn't funny. He insisted he wasn't lying and to turn up...then we lost our shit in excitement.

We decided we were going to wing it and keep in the mood of the spontaneity that was taken place. Let us tell you when we got on that stage for sound check we shat ourselves. Looking out into the huge open field from the booth (cause the gates hadn't opened) we just smiled ran to the bar and threw back a couple shots. 

This day and set is dedicated to everyone in our family, our close circle of friends who believed we could do this, our manager Adam and Enes who work harder than anyone in the business, and our agents Hunter and Mac who got us this taste and now nothing else will do and our fans who have supported us from our first remixes through the chaos of #SELFIE... Nobody in this music world has fans more connected and die hard than us! 

Life is a series of opportunities... you never know when you will get them but when they come however they come make sure you grab that motherfucker and win.

Fun facts:
1) we got to play Mainstage as a result of filling in for Laidback Luke and his wife Gina having a baby! Congrats Luke and Gina!
2) we had 5 shots each prior to the set

4) we were the only ones to play Levels at ULTRA..well besides Deadmau5

French Fries and Bambounou are just two of the progressive producers be found on the third part of Jimmy Edgar's esoteric, Techno tinged 'Metaphysix' series (https://soundcloud.com/ultramajic/sets/metaphysix-iii-correspondence), released on Ultramajic.

'Metaphysix' looks at the relationship and musical connection between Paris and Ultramajic, with Edgar inviting five ostensibly disparate producers, including Fries and Bambounou (as well as Crystal Bandito, Bobmo, Aden and Creepy Autograph)to translate similar musical ideas through cultural barriers.

Klangkarussell (aka Tobias Rieser and Adrian Held) are currently soaking the contemporary club sphere with their plethora of metropolitan club jams fresh from releasing their debut album, Netzwerk on Universal Music back in July. The album, which follows up last year’s summer fix Sonnentanz, gently demonstrates the Austrian duo's penchant for dance floor cuts  featuring a veritable mix of electro, house and drum & bass to boot. Praezisa Rapid 3000: Music To... Your Boyfriend's Miami Noise Education

Born and bought up on hip hop and taking his name from the eponymous Charlie Ahearn b-boy flick Wild Style, DJ W!LD has grown from hero of the Parisian underground to resident at some of the world’s most acclaimed clubs, including Circoloco at DC10 in Ibiza. As well as landmark Parisian clubs Rex, Palace and Queen, W!LD has also played Twilo, tour edBrazil and bag a residency at Brussels’ legendary techno haven Fuse. As his stock in the production world rose, so too did his status as a DJ, with Circoloco snapping him up as DC10 resident in 2009 and Sven Väth inviting him to join the Cocoon family not long after. Today’s mix, exclusively for i-D, is a truly a wild ride through the greatest times of the 80s and beyond…
