The UK based artist Faery (@freyacaldwell) is the third one to record a wonderful mix for our Herbarium mix series.
She worked with a lot of watery psychedelic textures forming an intriguing hypnotic vibe. Proper grooves support the whole captivating feeling of this episode.
We chose the plant 'Cyclamen Hederifolium' - a flower which blooms around autumn. The petals of this plant have wave-like shapes that strongly remind us of the watery atmosphere in Faery's journey. It grows best at shaded places where the strong colours of the blossoms glow even stronger. This links the deep atmosphere in combination with those subtle but well crafted sound design details of this mix to the flower in a beautiful way.

Forest On Stasys (@forestonstasys), owner and electronic explorer in Danza Nativa (@danza-nativa). The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions. But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

We have now reached the point in the year again where the change of seasons takes place. Winter has officially arrived in the northern hemisphere and some snow has already fallen. For this occasion we invited the labelhead of @midgar_records known as @severja to interpret this transition musically. Besides refreshing sound design and stirring rhythms that wonderfully reflect the autumn sonically, he has also used timbres that make you warm around the heart in the cold season.
