Here is a piece I composed. It is a strings/synths based composition that slowly builds up into tension to finally release. I imagined as another personality of a patient taking over its own mind.

Portrait of Memories

Isaac Silva is an Ecuadorian composer who was born in Belgium. His passion for film scoring started at a very young age while watching movies and playing video games with his brother. At the age of 5, he started piano lessons under the instruction of Sandra Marín. He graduated from the National Conservatory of Music in Ecuador.

Right after his graduation, he went to LUCA School of Arts in Leuven, Belgium, where he studied Piano Performance with Jan Vermeulen and Choral Conducting with Kurt Bikkembergs. He returned to Ecuador to study Contemporary Music Performance in Piano and graduated from Universidad San Francisco de Quito in 2018.

He holds Professional Certificates through Berklee Online at Berklee College of Music in Pro Tools and Composing and Orchestrating for Film and TV. He was also a participant in the NYU Scoring for Videogames Workshop.

Isaac is currently attending the University of North Carolina School of the Arts pursuing his master's of Fine Arts in Film Music Composition. He is a student of Chris Heckman. Isaac looks forward to working in the film scoring industry, as well as exploring new compositional paths in contemporary classical music with minimalistic tendencies.
