Rochelle (@kittinrochelle) is a Barcelona-based artist, by way of Houston → New York. She has been a dynamic force in the community for over 15 years, championing dance floors and DJ booths alike. Embracing music that defies traditional boundaries, Rochelle explores soundscapes that travel through the raw energy of acid, breaks, garage, electro and house, lately slowing into deep, psychedelic downtempo that bends time and blurs the edges of perception. Each track is found through patient digging, chosen for the way it stirs something just out of reach. Her sets unfold with quiet intent, guiding the room through shifting narratives and unspoken connections. Rochelle finds versatility shaped by perspective, every selection made with purpose; weaving through moods that feel surprising yet precise.

The haze of Paral·lel festival has barely lifted, but we’re rewinding to another moment worth lingering on, February in Granada, at the Moonback club. There, under the warm glow of the Extramostra banner, Mostra linked up with the Klub Collective for a night that balanced local soul with an international touch. The lineup reads like a heads-only dream: Timnah, Antonio Vázquez, Refracted, and a solid core of Klub Collective residents including Fran Acosta, Kaizen, and Utopian. The kind of night that reminded us why the first slot matters more than most people admit. It’s the architectural role: shaping the night’s flow from zero.

Utopian did just that. His set unfolds like a slow exhale, dub-laced ambient that creeps, swells, and gradually transforms into chugging, low-slung techno hypnosis. It’s a patient climb: syncopated, restrained, precise. Not a single cheap move, just deep focus and floor logic, the kind that sets the table without stealing the meal. But make no mistake, this was a statement. A warm-up that didn’t just support the night, but elevated it.

Inspired by cities and dancefloors where she's lived and explored, London-based Annx’s (@annx-anna-whomp) deep sound echos within her multi-genre selections. 

Her commitment to the scene goes beyond the booth with her events being a staple for psychedelic music on London's club circuit. As well as co-curating perspectives• with Nicole Gordon, she founded and curates Whomp with Lora Mipsum and is part of the Above Below Festival music team.

This mix floats around 140bpm, blending freaky textural bass with psychedelic techno and deep dubstep.

Osmura w/ ANNX 30

For this month's mix, we welcome Maïore, a French and Berlin-based artist, vinyl selector, and curator of @preceptco. Maïore's sound is rooted in the deep, minimal, and dubby realms of electronic music, today he takes us on a journey through gentle melodies and subtle grooves, drifting between ambient and downtempo. This mix perfectly sets the mood for a slow summer day. Big thanks to Maïore for sharing his universe with us!

Conscious Listening Mix Series - 37 - Maïore

Programa especial centrado en el universo de Jan Jelinek, productor alemán que lleva años experimentando con el sonido, siempre en los márgenes, siempre buscando texturas nuevas.

Lo interesante de Jelinek es que trabaja con varios pseudónimos, cada uno con su propia identidad. Como Farben, explora un microhouse lleno de clicks, loops y detalles microscópicos. Con Gramm, se acerca a una electrónica más dub, más cálida, casi flotante. Y bajo su propio nombre, se suelta del ritmo y construye paisajes sonoros entre el ambient, el collage y el minimalismo.

En esta selección vamos a pasear por sus diferentes facetas, escuchando cómo un mismo artista puede hablar varios idiomas musicales sin perder su esencia.

this week on the 909 mix series forest on stasys brings a wormhole of locked-in grooves, percussive-driven rhythms & spacey soundscapes that exist around the sweet spot of 135pm ~ filled with that sweaty sensual late night energy. the buenos aires-based dj & producer shares, “i recently closed the night at the danza nativa showcase at under club and was quite inspired by the connection that was created with the crowd. so, you'll find minimalist techno at 135 bpm with energetic, deep, and abstract passages.”

that 90s-esque minimalist techno sound is something that forest on stasys has become renowned for within his own productions on labels such as space lab, hyphen records, crescent london, harmony records, lowless, accent records and worst records to name a few. alongside this, forest on stasys runs and curates the label aura sonora which recently released a record by dyl & tammo hesselink and he’s also part of the danza nativa crew which he has been co-running alongside alderaan and kyntral since 2018.

Human Lessons #112 - XENIA REAPER

Some DJs treat genre boundaries like walls; others see them as doors. Craig Gonzalez belongs firmly to the latter camp. A staple of Detroit’s underground and a resident DJ at Paxahau’s Third Thursday monthly, he has long been drawn to what happens when techno’s linear propulsion collides with the restless syncopation of drum & bass. That liminal space, the “grey area” between the two, has become one of the most fertile playgrounds in electronic music over the past decade, and Gonzalez shows why. In this mix, recorded as the opening set on the Movement main stage, he handles tempo as a fluid variable, shifting gears without friction and letting polyrhythms function as the connective tissue. It’s the kind of approach that resists the obvious peak and instead builds a topology of groove, a groove that bends but doesn’t break, carrying dancers across time signatures almost without them noticing. 

And while opening a stage that would later host Deepchord, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Octave One, and Jeff Mills could be seen as a daunting warm-up role, Gonzalez treats it less as preparation and more as architecture. Across ninety minutes, he layers patterns with patience, calibrating intensity so that tension rises and releases without tipping into spectacle. The set moves like a conversation that shifts from whispers to declarations, never overstated but always persuasive. It’s a reminder that flow is not just sequencing but narrative logic, and that true mastery lies not in domination of a dancefloor but in shaping the conditions for everything that comes after.
