I am a singer songwriter producer from the North West in the  UK.....I love Jazz and Soul...in fact  all music brings me joy!, My music has had mainstream play on The BBC music app  on The Sun Lounge  show with Adam Dunning and BBC introducing  in Manchester with “ Roesh”  Jazz FM Curved Radio in Australia  and  KJazz radio UK . Guitar player since 1988, I like rock in all its incarnations. 

This is a one man band project. All tracks are written, performed, produced, mixed and mastered by myself (except for collaboration where songwriters and musicians are properly credited).

Ian Gillan once said, “I can write a million songs about the things I’ve done but I can never sing them so they never get sung”.  That was 100% true for me because I can’t sing, I couldn’t play an instrument and I had no opportunity to get involved in the music scene.  Thanks to technology I can now have fun composing some hard rocking tunes with my minimal guitar skills and Garageband my MacBook.

Like I said, I am not a musician.  I'm doing this for fun.  I welcome all advice, suggestons or if you just want to tell me things I am doing wrong.  I welcome all advice but If you want to just insult please save it for another channel.

My favourite era of music is late 60's and early to mid 70's.  I'm obsessed with everything Deep Purple but I also love The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, early Queen, Aerosmith, YES, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and many more. Of course I will listen to anything from all genres as long as it sounds good to my ears.

I'm a baritone sax player & composer in a contemporary jazz genre from Cologne, Germany (and play clarinet and flute, and the other saxes as well). All woodwind parts on these tracks are played by me (multitrack rec.), all other instruments by virtousi virtuali (with three or four exceptions). All arrangements and by far most compositions are by me.
I very much appreciate every kind of collaboration.

Originally from Chicago, where I developed a strong appreciation for the blues and classical, and moved to New York, where jazz and the fine arts are so deep.  Key musical influences include Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Zawinul and Weather Report, Chick Corea and Return to Forever, John McLaughlin and the Mahivishnu Orchestra, Stanley Clarke, Scott Henderson and Tribal Tech, Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, Emily Remler, McCoy Tyner, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Jimmy Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Larry Young, Buddy Guy, Santana and Earth Wind & Fire.
