Levantine, musical composer, bassist, keyboardist and DJ from Mexico, presents Light Darkens Upon Us, an EP that aims to take reality to another level through its unique sound, which it consolidates with this latest work. Inspired by the era of dance music, synth pop and Manchester disco, his latest work consolidates the trajectory of this unique producer

Light Darkens Upon Us EP is a euphoric psychedelic experience, with each track taking the listener on their own sonic journey. Levantine love for electronics grew from a young age. Through solid arrangements and solid programming, this single becomes a vehicle for reverential music that manages to spill out enough ideas from the artist himself to shake off the high era, allowing it to exist in its own right as credible.

In addition, the album is accompanied by remixes by artists of the stature of David Garcet and Bonnie Spacey, who add power and affirm that desired return to the dance floor.

Jane Musica’s tenth EP, ‘Rewind Time’ by Did Virgo ft. Morgan K is all set for release on 16st July 2021. The EP will include 3 original tracks as well four amazing remixes curated by an fantastic group of electro, electronica  and Dark Disco music, Niv Ast, Mufti, She Teiks and David From Venus.

"Rewind Time" EP  interprets a unique musical style perfectly, a penchant for storytelling through slow beats and dominant voice really comes across here. Combining love of Electronica and vocals with Morgan K's powerful and enchanting voice keeps listeners entranced throughout the tracks. A slow but empowering musical voyage that moves gracefully and hides depths of emotion just waiting to be delved into.


Nivast and Mufti adds a Dark Disco remix to the EP, featuring compelling heavy sounds and a mid-tempo beat which deepens listeners into an unusual musical world of its own. She Teiks finds himself exploring a more minimalist and progressive edge, a harder and repetitive beat gives the remix a more hypnotic and almost decadent. David From Venus remix is more alternative, a bolder rhythmic intensity with amplified bass sounds for a more future-forward feel.

Musical versatility is really stretched through this EP, offering a unique breadth of emotion and intensity.

We are happy to announce the debut EP of the Rotterdam based contemporary artist and musician Silas Schletterer aka Machinegewehr. After his track ‘The Maze’ on a well received Lost Tapes Vol. 4, he is no stranger to the AEON camp anymore.
Known from his releases on Jennifer Cardini’s Correspondant and Amsterdams finest Bordello A Parigi, Machinegewehr delivers a strong 3 track debut EP with the title ‘Nutant’.
The EP kicks off with DeVilleneuve: 80's vibes are not new to the Rotterdamer, but for this track he tried something new. A dark approach yet joyful at the same time. A modern/ futuristic summer song about 2 lovers, that spend the most happy time together. For now and forever. “Life is so much better with your soulmate by your side...” Machinegewehr says and thats the message of the song.
Nothing less should be transported in the remix of the label boss Alex Niggemann. His ‘Blazing In The Sun Remix’ fully represents and lives up to the name. Happy sunny vibes inspired late 70’s Disco and early 80’s Italo a la Lime & Paul Parker, reinterpreted in a modern way. Probably the happiest song we have ever heard from Alex.
Clearly recognisable that „Down in the storm" was inspired by old school electro that uses space and trippy melodies to tell this adventurous story that keeps you focused from beginning to end.
Nutant, the title track comes closest to Machinegewehr signature sound. The classic Italo, 80's, Sci-Fi vibes, made for the dance floor. A track with lots of energy that will make you want to move, but at the same time lifts people up to follow this journey through space.
"When I finished this EP, I really wanted to look for a label that rhymed with the vibe of this new EP. As the 3 tracks are pretty different from each other, but together form an EP that to me feels new and original, AEON felt like the perfect label to me.“ Machinegewehr says.
