Wow Janine, there's so much to like about this song! Brilliant way you weave the melody around all those non-intuitive chord changes. I'm sure that took some real work and planning. Killer e. piano, guitar, and drums on this, too. Is that all you? Very impressive and enjoyable, either way. It sounds very pro. Way to go, Russ, too! Wonderful song you've made here.

"It's mostly...wonderful..."  I like that caveat. It can be...at times, and especially if you're up in the middle of the night ;)  Liked the delivery of this muse...your vocal carries the possibilities and different point of view. Wonderful mix/master, too! :)

The city centre, often busy and vibrant,  is the area of a city where commerce, entertainment, shopping, and political power are concentrated. The term is commonly used in many English-speaking countries and has direct equivalents in many other languages. However, noticeably, in the United States, the term "downtown" is commonly used to denote a city centre, and in Canada the terms "city centre" and "downtown" are used interchangeably. The first citation for "down town" or "downtown" dates to 1770, in reference to the center of Boston. Some have posited that the term "downtown" was coined in New York City, where it was in use by the 1830s to refer to the original town at the southern tip of the island of Manhattan. During the late 19th century, the term was gradually adopted by cities across the United States and Canada to refer to the historical core of the city, which was most often the same as the commercial heart of the city.  In many metropolitan areas, the city centre or downtown, is marked by a cluster of tall buildings, cultural institutions and the convergence of rail transit and bus lines. 

For soprano sax, tenor sax, baritone sax. oboe, heckelphone, clarinet, xylophone, marimba, piano, bassoon, contra bassoon, city sound samples and percussion.
