This is a recording of my grandfather of "Boogie Woogie" and "Tea for Two". He was such a brilliant pianist and he played strictly by ear. What an inspiration for me!!

Recorded live in the studio with Jay Mollerskov (of Racine WI USA) and Michael A Firman (of Naperville IL USA). Jay controlled the Easel with the Norns running the Awake sequence program and played the MicrowaveXT and Xpander. Michael played the Lyra-8 and the Voyager. Recorded Friday July 30th 2021 in Naperville IL USA.

When I was 24
out of no where
my world became pain
no doctor could find reason
or explain but none the less
it was there
capped below the knee
could hardly stand
and one day
out of the blue
a person I never met
that never knew me before that
offered help as they knew what it was
and if marble could weap
I would
but I became a statue in time

I found Treatment
and
They say that dreams
are only that
and once we wake
they are lost 
but with you
I can't tell if I'm awake
as all the hardships I've endured
are gone
and I melt in your hands
and my legs nummed over the years
feel again
and I

break away
and become real again.

I want to apologize for who I am
I find freedom in poetry
Letting me tell stories
Pure fiction
And people coddle me
Praise me for
being strong
When all I did 
was be creative

I’m sorry if I was 
off putting in  your praise
I just honestly don’t know how to take it
I write the way I do 
because 
it comes easy to me
To write so real that it comes across
As its true to life for me
And I don’t feel
I’m hurting anyone
Until it becomes reality

Where the father can’t say he loves his son
Because its not manly to do
That is how I feel when I’m approached

my body broken
soaking in the 
water flowing
from my eyes
to my legs
no words can be
spoke to devise 
or temper
the delusions
of nevermore
hard baked in my brain
this pain
is sustained caustically
constantly but dulled
in compressed garments

I am far from ok
my mouth dry from
yelling on the inside

I live in a body
that fights me each day
if not my legs then
other systems in my brain
and I love to see the sun
but I love to close my eyes
to a bed
so time ticks by
with dreams of being
not this.
