It has been a heavy week. This past Sunday's talk speaks to the question of how we can witness and be present to suffering and go about our everyday lives. And, if fear has its grip, how to take care of our fear so that we are not overwhelmed by and caught in reacting to it. It addresses why our mindfulness practice matters in the face of suffering.

Failure To Launch

This is quite a different kind of outing for me. I've always admired the Soundcloud guitar players who play blues to pre-recorded backing tracks and burn them up. Many years ago, I played the blues myself, or tried to. So, around four years ago I thought I'd give the backing track blues thing a try. I decided at the time that the results weren't good enough to post. In fact, I'd forgotten that I'd even done it when I found this on my hard drive. I enjoyed hearing it, and inspired by Bill Boethius' recent original mega-exploded-blues postings (check them out!), I thought I'd share it.

I got the backing track free online, but can't now recall from where.

We create a LOVE NET by making "chains", adding the own love music and vocals to music or vocals that are already in the playlist. Feel free to use any existing part in love and respect, and remix, develop, continue, add ... the aim is to let chains grow and spread to a net.
