I was thrilled to be invited to take part in Johnny Davison's mix series called 'Journeys'. We both had to deliver a 10 track warm up set and 10 track peak time set, which were then intertwined into one comprehensive set of over 4 hours of progressive and peak time trance.

Journeys returns with our first American guests, Speed Rising.

Speed is US Florida native who grew up NYC tri-state area and took on a liking to Trance at an early age of his adult years. He got his first pair of decks at 16 and would travel to the Satellite records shop in Manhattan to get releases he heard on his computer. As time went on he grew a passion for his art in turntable beat matching and was inspired by the likes of the well-known big artists in the genre of Progressive, Trance, & Breaks. Later on, SpeedRising met up with Richard Sander the label boss of Saturn3 Records where Richard signed Speed's first track, Rouge City.

This is my vinyl only tribute mix to Marco V. A pioneer of the Tech-Trance sound he was in my opinion at the very top of his game around 2002-2003. He was one of the biggest DJs and producers of that time with his tracks featuring on compilations from all the UK Superclubs and he was a regular fixture on their line ups around this time. This mix features 26 of his prouctions or remixes under a number of aliases.
