Resonance: Episode 5 DJ Tiesto @ Godskitchen CODE (14/06/2002)

Three years ago, around this time of the year I started to take music production more seriously. I met some wonderful people in the scene, and had some great sessions where I learned so many tips and tricks. In 2023 that resulted in my first ever release, together with Magnevi (a.k.a. Julian Del Agranda), on the wonderful Legacy of Trance label. What a moment and milestone. I also worked on some other collabs with an awesome producer (thanks Jack) from Denmark, one of the kindest guys I’ve met, we finished 2 tracks and are also busy with some other tunes! Besides collabs I also want to master mastering myself so I watched many tutorials regarding mastering.

Long story short, this mix contains most of my productions (and some collabs) of the past 3 years. Some fresh tracks, some reworks and an occasional remaster of an old one of myself. Made this mix for my own listening pleasure while on vacation, but it's too nice to keep for myself.

This mix also contains my 2 newest tracks, finished just before my holiday, after years of practising I recently found some kind of mastering mojo, created a kind of template for myself to have all basic sounds always right. Can you guess which tracks these 2 are?

The Insomniacz and REBOOTED Ibiza Invasion was phenomenal and flew by far too quickly: a whistle-stop tour from sunset socials to superclubs - Itaca, 528, Es Paradis, Eden and Amnesia. Three busy events in two days and every dancefloor on fire!!!

Kicking off at Itaca, followed by a sunset boat party on the next day and then wrapping up in one of the main rooms at Eden. Really pleasing to see so many come out for these adrenaline-fuelled events. 

For all of you FOMO lovers out there, the vibe and relentless energy was unreal, proof that Ibiza still holds a special spark for the crowds of passionate people drawn to the White Isle’s wonders and mysteries. 

First up from my Ibiza sets was a special warm welcome to Ibiza B2B set with my good friend, promoter and business partner, Tom Muir. We explored the deeper, more atmospheric side of Trance, threading in timeless gems like Way Out West - Mindcircus, Pulser - My Religion and Electrovoya - Whispers. It set the initial soundtrack to what became an enjoyable, relaxing and memorable couple of days.
