The Path was written by my good friend Stephen who lost his wife and best friend Máire 4 years ago.
It is a beautiful and very personal song that portrays the path that Stephen takes every week as he
makes his journey to visit Máire.
I am truly honoured that Stephen asked me to help him record and produce this beautiful song in
Máire’s memory.

I was interested in music in my early youth... so I soon got my first synthesizer and set up a small home recording studio.
over the years i played keyboards in 5 bands...the direction was rock...pop...blues and soul.
in the meantime i have discovered my enthusiasm for creating my own songs.
it makes me happy when I can compose...arrange...mix...produce and create something new.
it's like a passion to experiment with different styles of music... and it gives me a lot of joy.
the only limit is your imagination...
is my motto.
and everything is possible...you just have to try.

Recently I have had the urge to pick up my guitars (Taylor 114ce and Fender Squire) and I have been trying to use more guitar in my songs.  
My go to .vst plug ins are  EZkeys 2, EZ Bass and  EZ drummer 3) and my DAW is Logic Pro 11.

I love creative music.  Music helps us to have good times, so necessary in the day to day. I hope my music fulfills that end.
  

Best described as eclectic, my style is a soothing mix mirroring my personality: mostly mellow with the occasional outburst. Although I have a background in classical piano I have always loved to create and improvise.  Since early childhood I have been trying to duplicate on the piano what I hear in my head.  Now I see how formal studies and improvisation fit together perfectly. I hope to always keep growing and learning, reflecting the beauty of Christ in all my endeavors. I am drawn to folk, blues, soft rock, and country music, new and old. I love songs that tell a story, especially the Irish, English, and Scottish ballads of long ago because their stories are often timeless, and most everyone at any time can relate to. 
 
I also am a pastel painter and find being able to express universal emotions through my art, as well as writing lyrics and putting them to music that I can sing and play on my guitar or ukelele so rewarding and comforting.

Memories of people, places, and events throughout my life influence the songs I write.

At home producer of electronic tracks in varying styles - I really enjoy experimenting with melding different genres. 
Been writing songs since the mid 70's whilst playing bass & drums in various bands (the first one was a punk band) and digitally writing since 2006.
