This was an early draft of a cue for a moment within Ridley Scott's movie, "The Martian". If you know my main theme from that score, you'll recognize it here, but the instrumentation that is used in this demo is in stark contrast to what I ended up with in the final score.

Joseph is a UK based composer, sound designer and musical director, specialising in scores, sounds & songs for moving image, games, theatre, exhibitions, heritage, immersive and art. With collaboration at the heart of his process, and through a stance that investigates, explores and enhances a project's emotional and narrative context, Joseph works with acoustic and electronic instruments, both independently, but also in collaboration with organic and found sounds. He also writes and conducts music for orchestra, small ensembles and choirs. Joseph makes music that soundtracks and soundscapes, encapsulating emotions and space. Working with production teams from diverse disciplines, Joseph brings the musical and sound worlds of interdisciplinary work to life.
