These two recordings were made at Marc Kirschvink's art exhibition, as a part of our joint project: Partitur. In this project we have set to musically interpret Marc's paintings; on the other hand, Marc is researching how he can influence our performance with his art. We are so happy to be part of this ;)

Kadrasonic‘s music is a fresh, visceral stew of conventional and experimental sounds that features stonking riffs, thrashy noise, evocative songs and accoustic soundscapes. Incubated in mammoth improvisation sessions and honed in local gigs, their music is delivered with a captivating swagger and greedy energy that is utterly beguiling and packs a powerful punch.
 
Kadrasonic are Christian Klinkenberg piano, Vedran Mutic doublebass, Maxime Bender tenor and  soprano sax, and Franck Hemmerle on drums. 

Influenced by a wide range of music from Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and Thelonious Monk to Igor Stravinsky, Olivier Messiaen, Tristan Murail, Jimi Hendrix and Rage Against the Machine as well as the vibrant European scene they also name check contemporary performers such as Aka Moon, Malik Mezzadri and Jozef Dumoulin. But their invigorating mix of spectral spheres, multi-layered, polymetric, brightly orchestrated, jazz flavored improvisations and compositions mark them out as a powerful new band in their own right, as their use of Franck’s trademark auxiliary percussion gives their music a muscular sonic edge and febrile funkiness that makes this music for the heart, head and feet!
