A mix of some of some of my old favourites which were popular on the European dance music scene in the late 90's and early 00's. It seems to me that at this time, the genres of dance music were less rigidly defined. Some of these tracks have flavours of Trance, EDM, House, Disco, DnB and Techno. Artists featured include Sash, Alice DJ, Tiesto, ATB, Rui Da Silva, Fragma, FatBoy Slim and Faithless among others.

Initially I wrote the song out of frustrations with the political system. A system which often puts the planet last in its considerations. Wanting to be solution focused rather than problem focused I re-imagined the song as a kind of call to action. We can have a lot of fun while saving the planet and pursuing more sustainable solutions. Ultimately this path is better for humanity as well.

A song I wrote about Michael Collins, a leading figure from Irish history.

I was first inspired to write the song by one of my favourite Bob Dylan songs  'Hurricane.' This led me to seek out a figure from Irish history whose story I found to be inspiring. The Neil Jordan film of the same name also had an influence on my lyrics. I chose this year to release the song as it is the 100 year anniversary of the death of Michael Collins the first leader of the Irish free state.

A mix inspired by a place called God Says No, deep in the heart of the West Australian Desert. A place where those who go, know God really meant yes. When we Burn again the rains will fall and we will dance in the pyramid under the stars in the salty dust once more. This too shall pass and the fire in our hearts will burn eternally.
