this song talks about the pain and struggles of losing someone you love, which still hurts to this day. sometimes music is the best way to get the pain out, and make all the real world problems disappear for a little while. 
I wrote this song to help relieve myself and find my direction.

I was thinking of the phrase "Isn't it pretty to think so?" the famous last line from Ernest Hemingway's novel "The Sun Also Rises". It's a bittersweet expression of longing and acceptance, often used to acknowledge a beautiful but ultimately unattainable idea or hope. "Pretty" didn't really work for the song but that was the sentiment behind the lyrics.
