This is an original of mine that I wrote a couple of years ago on my ukulele, but have only just got it mastered after a studio session several months back. I had some really talented musicians helping me and I am super happy with the outcome.
The song is about wearing your heart on your sleeve and speaking before thinking, something I do quite often!

This song is the lightning of the Egoistic Animal trapped inside a 
bottle. Bragadocious, cocky and arrogant. 
But it's all just for fun, as I explain it in the bridges between the verses. 
Also, this song serves as a nod to Joey Badass' "Christ Conscious" as I expand on some of the rhyme patterns from it
and throw in a couple of direct references.

I'm being a third wheel to pain and misery. That's the catch of this song, but there's a lot more to it. The main theme/idea of this song is that my character is being drowned by life and instead of fighting back, he's trying to put others down and by doing that, get up out from the hole he is in. Not going to be the lowest if I put someone lower, right?
