I’ve seen the faces, their eyes locked tight,
Chasing the phantoms of a flickering light.

Searching for truth in a deafening song.

But the last song is playing, and it’s bittersweet,
A melody fading, beneath restless feet.
Where do we wander when the lights start to fade?
In this masquerade, has hope ever stayed?

 Lost in the shuffle, as we dance in the dark,
Clinging to echoes, but where’s the spark?
This world is a canvas smeared with despair,
Maybe the colors were never quite there.

So, what will be left when we roll up the scroll?
A tale of a wanderer, lost in the control.
I question the fabric of this strange design,
Is it fate or just folly that draws us the line?
                                               
So, I sing one last time, in the still of the night,
As the curtain is falling, I hold on to the light.
We fight for a place where the heart can be free,
In this aching reflection, it's just you and me.

**I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks. Well, i make music with computer from 20 years and in the past i used music maker magic Cd and Packard Bell. After from 2010 i played in a local band in Lodi, ita that closed during covid...We played melodic rock and i did sound technic with keyboards....🥂
Now i enjoy to create with different apps and remaster with digital studio on line  my tracks but i don't forget to ask a few friends to do jam sessions  in a garage and play original our songs and news🤷🙋🏻‍♂️

I have enjoyed music for as long as I can remember and cannot remember a day of not either singing or listening to music. I am self-taught when it comes to playing guitar but what I most enjoy is singing which I have been doing since around age 18. Now retired singing and playing the guitar is now just a hobby and something I do to help pass the time. Have always  loved the sound of a Martin guitar.
