Honeycomb Hotel is the next in a series of singles Luke has been releasing since November, each of which consists of an a-side and a b-side. Noted as "the first optimistic song I've made in a while," the lyrics deal with a metaphorical hotel where you can practice self-love again and get better.

Honeycomb Hotel features Gary Zucker on drums and was mastered by Garrett Edson in LA. All other instruments played and produced by Luke Frees.

Miss Miss U is an upbeat funk/rock song featuring Garrett Frees on saxophone, Gary Zucker on drums, and everything else played, recorded, and mixed by Luke Frees.

This double single has two versions of the same song: an upbeat, fully-produced piano-rock track in the style of Billy Joel and Elton John; and a "nighttime version," which was recorded in a stripped-back, candlelit session in L.A. with my friend and frequent collaborator, Jack Wakley.

Luke Frees is a songwriter and performer based out of Chicago. His songs are melodic and have a strong emphasis on narratives, with lyrics that often tell a story. He’s produced three albums and one EP as a solo artist, as well as one album with a band he formed with other musicians at Berklee. Beginning with Gimme Some Time (To Prove U Wrong), Luke continues to consistently release new music, putting out one single at a time.
